just watched 28 weeks later. horrible, horrible movie. it relied on dumbness to keep the story going. which is what you expect from a cheesy zombie movie, but isn't this one suppose to be good and artsy and full of social commentary? it was just dumb. hated it. utterly.
it was until america got involved in the making of the movie and totally stripped it's charm away from it the 1st one was excellent
watched jarhead last night for the 100th time, 8/10 great film
gonna watch the kingdom later, hoping it'll be as good as it looks

There Will Be Blood - 10/10 (no joke, one of the best movies I've seen and that means something)
No Country for Old Men - 10/10 (stellar)
Atonement - 9/10 (yeah it's "romantic", but I don't give a ****. A good movie's a good movie)
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly - 8/10 (was hoping for more, but it was still quite good)

Sweeny Todd, Butcher of fleet street = 1/10, ****ING MUSICAL BULL****
Beowulf = 9/10, Great Film.
Charlie Wilson's War = 8/10, very good film, and very well made and acting is legend. But some serious flaws and facts left out, and a bit pro-US for me. But any yanks will love it.
I am Legend = 2/10, stupid stupid film.
The Kingdom = 7/10. very well made and moving film, but leaves out major facts and far to pro-US BS.
haha Shane, Charlie Wilson's War and The Kingdom are AMERICAN-MADE films. Did you seriously expect anything other than pro-US?
well tbh no, but like i said very well made films, and if i was a yank(or ignorant to other cultures) i would have given them a 10/10.
I still gave them good scores, and Im not giving out that a yank made a pro-us film as thats just commen sense.
But in CWW they did make the commies look like the devil itself, and the afgans as a poor defenseless nation full of innocent angels who need the US's help, those angels ended up doing 9/11 but w/e what do i know...
They werent that great. The actual monsters looked laughable. I questioned Will Smiths acting in some parts of it too. Unusual for his usually high standards. Probably because the script was so weak. All started off well with the Mustang scence and went downhill from there
I know i practically laughed out loud in the cinema when I realised that the monsters were so freakishly violent, ye they could come up witha witty trap. And how they could actually organize an attack on the house, and how there was like a zombie leader. It was so unrealistic.
isn't i am legend a remake of omega man? that one was pretty good.
watched total recall again last night, ah sweet movies from my youth to remind of how things used to be and i didn't have to worry about kids, houses, jobs, etc. just school and homework and roll playing games (in moderation of course.)

They shoulda just looked like humans with a virus, instead of these undead looking zombie aliens. And i think that 'leader' was the boyfriend of the zombie will smith napped at the start, remember the 18-20 year old one that ended up being 'cured'.
***SPOLIERS***
What pissed me off was the dog died, they blew up bridges to stop airbourne viruses. a young woman who weighs like 80pounds and a 4year old kid made it all the way from brazil to NY on a boat without a scratch, then at the end one vile of blood in a remote cold envirmont up the mountains with no labs was suppose to somehow cure everyone. and so on....
i know its a film, but it takes itself way to serious for that BS.

I haven't seen it yet but I lost interest the second it said that Will Smith in it. His movies are never good and I can't take him seriously as an actor.
i just watched half of young einstein. booo! bad, even for an 80's movie. and if it isn't an 80's movie, it sure could be. whatever happened to yahoo serious anyway? think this movie was popular because it was similar to bill and ted's.
doesn't the sniper in saving private ryan look like the blonde guy in bill and ted's?

yeah, coz everyone knows that real zombies are nothing like that...
i dunno why everyone hates that film, i thought it was decent, but i'm gonna watch it again to see if i see it in a different light this time

I will now never take any movie advice from you, now that you have said that! That was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

I thought this also. How are they supposed to replicate the vile in a remote village with no scientific knowledge or technology? As far as we know, the most scientific thing that they have is a case of inbreeding due to low population and the need to save mankind. Also, how did they get those giant ass nuke-resistant 50 ft walls all the way around the town? Surely this is just a movie, but it's something to think about. ^O^

Which of his sucky movies was it that you thought he was so great in? Was it MIB? or I, suckbot? Wild Wild West? or perhaps the great films Bad Boys 1&2?
