Posts: 2,812 | I'd have to agree on American Gangsta and 300. I'd give Yuma a 9/10, MI3 a 6/10, and I Am Legend a 7/10. |

| | | Beowulf- 7/10. Quite graphic but mildly entertaining. Not sure the naked man fighting was necessary however. Also the ending left a bit to be desired. | |

And at times the movie actully becomes surreal. Joe ****ker and Bono make apperances in the movie where they play a character out of a Beatles song.

Posts: 60 | I bought the BD version of I Am Legend last Wednesday, which has both movie versions and finally got around to watch the theatrical version Friday night and alternate ending Saturday night. There's no real difference between the versions until Anna and Ethan show up. There seems to be a couple of additional scenes in the alternate ending with Anna and Ethan mostly. The butterfly theme is different, as who it refers to, in the alternate ending and it is the "happy ending" that some people wanted. The movie was obviously shot with the 2 endings, but I don't know who made the decision to release one version over the other to the theaters.
The BD disc has lots of extras with the obligatory "behind the scenes and the making off" short documentaries. Perhaps the best part of the additional content were the 4 animated comics that tell the stories of different people from other parts of the world. These were produced by Jada Pinkett Smith, in case your interested.
10/10 for the movie and the BD disc. |

10/10 for the movie and the BD disc. | They may have stuck with the theatrical ending because in the original movie, Omega Man, it ends the same way with Charleton Heston. So, basically, since this movie is a remake of that one, I think they kept story with the original on some points. |

Giving a movie a 1 means there was nothing good about it and it was absolute ****. Giving it a 10 means that it was perfect and nothing bad about it. |
