Waaaaaay better than the first movie. yea it was a little more "standard" fare, but after finding an ancient pyramid of doom in the antartic in the first one, im fine with standard. The human characters were annoying as hell and served no purpose whatsoever. The predalien thing doesn't even make any sense anyway, the aliens are a parasitic species (not a symbiote) and wouldn't become half alien/predator in the first place.

The power of the military? Nuke the town is just so cliche, I mean that's the best they could think of?

True about it become part alien part predator. They do mimic what they gestate in however, like the alien in alien 3, which was doglike.

And the people did serve a purpose...cannon fodder!

Watched Resurrecting the Champ tonight. A pretty good movie based on a true story. Josh Hartnet was pretty good in it. Samuel Jackson stole the show however with a wonderful performance. Very different from his usual roles.

I watched AVP2 the other night, found it had plenty of action makes a change for me to see everyone die including the good looking ones who in most cases end up kissing at the end and ruining the storyline. I'll rate it a 8/10.

hehe, i saw this movie in the theaters. no matter how many showers i took, the dumbness wouldn't come off.

but it did have the offspring in it, so that was kind of good.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: 8.75/10
While it is certainly not the Indiana Jones we all remember it is still a very good movie. However, if you are expecting a movie on par with Raiders of the Lost Ark you will be disappointed. The action is nonstop and, in my opinion, never too over the top. Although CGI is used a lot, the movie never really relies on them as a crutch. The acting is great and Ford still plays the part masterfully. His age is alluded to a few times, but its not overdone. Just as in all the movies, the fight scenes are amazingly well done. Although Shia LaBeouf does get his fair share of classic Indy style action, it never seems as though we are witnessing a passing of the torch. Indy is still able to keep up and maintains the lead. However, is is apparent that Mutt shows the vigor of the young Indy. Also, the supporting cast of the movie all play their parts very well. The Russians make for fine replacements to the Nazis. That being said, the lead antagonist is definitely no Donavin or Belloq. In addition, there are many humorous parts as well as homages to the series throughout. The only real problems I had were a bit too much cgi at certain points, monkeys (you will know what I mean when you see the movie), and an ending which is a bit over the top and goofy. Overall I would recommend this movie to al
