Fight Club was great, One of my favorite movies of all time. And Anchorman I would rate a 7.. I didn't like it too much.. If I were to say one Farrell's best, it would definitely have to be Old School for me.

i know you meant to say his blades of glory movie.
the only part of anchorman that was funny was when all the tv studios had that street brawl.
ferrel is like jim carrey. he has funny stuff, but he does the same thing in every movie. (but i think jim carrey is better).

i can't stand jim carrey, and you're right him and ferrel are alike, both them and (unfortunately) many comedy actors rely on pulling stupid faces and stuff to make the morons laugh rather than actually saying something funny in a funny way. charlie day style comedy is much better imo

Terminator: Salvation - 9.5/10
Jesus Christ it was a good movie. I think the only reason I'm giving it such a high score is because I loves the first 2 so damn much! I never seen the 3rd one though, the one with the girl as the terminator. I don't feel like I missed much. If anyone vaguely liked this series, you should certainly watch this one.

might go see that one tomorrow.
just saw new star trek. pretty good. lots of action. spock kicked kirks buttocks. story was pretty good, but what is with star trek and time travel?
anyway, good show. 8/10

the 3rd one is almost a comedy/parody of the Terminator universe, a decent movie if you don't take it seriously. It does have some decent parts and some bad parts, some that make me laugh. I'd give it a 6/10
6/10 is way too generous
a solid 2 out of 5 perhaps.
I have a heart .... okay well maybe not but I feel sh!t too pure comedy and Batman as John Connor? well that murdered it for me. I watched it on your recommendation hedaikes I loved the first one and the second one was decent wiuth the liquid metal guy and the third one was forgivable but they did not even try with this one I don't think. they had a huge mythos to tap into with the water born termintators that would have been sick to do more with. and plus what was it rated pg-13 they have toys out for kids now... that should have been my warning sign to stay far away from the franchise.
2/5 final verdict

2/5 seriously? I don't think it deserves that. If you see Bale as Batman then every movie he makes from here on out will be ruined for you. Bale is an ace in action films and he played this war hero/leader of the revolution role to a perfect T, in my opinion. I mean c'mon man; A queer cowboy played joker, Spiderman played a horse jockey, a childhood actor(elijah), and a football washout(sean in "Rudy") played hobbits. Those are the great differences in characters that can ruin a movie, but it didn't because they're all great actors. So going from masked vigilante to leader of the revolution isn't that far of a leap, and a great actor such as Bale will be able to sell it.
I'm stepping back now, after letting the drugs and alcohol wear off and looking at Terminator: Salvation for what it is and not having a hard on for it because I loved the first 2 movies. I would rate it a 8.25/10. Still a great movie in my opinion.

Reason: fixing sentences, so they make sense

i've not seen the film yet but i agree with you there. bale is a legend and every film i've seen him in he's adapted to become the character perfectly. if you always see bale as batman then you'll never enjoy films by any actor who's ever been in more than 1

Well Maybe it is just me I suppose but...
2/5 = about a 6 /10 it is all about averages
maybe I was being a little harsh at my first review but still would you accept a 6/10? I am still cheesed by bale. not just because of batman but because he is not in my mind whom I envisioned for the role. I always pictured someone more lost. he seemed to be defeated just not quite enough for me. and not in the right ways. ya know? the sound direction of the film was awesome and the visuals were stunning but what do you expect in the year 2009. it beat 1985 's Terminator for sure, but anyways last movie I saw was
Spiderman 3 .
I loved it solid movie, great villains, Venom and Sand Man make an awesome pair. Totally sets up for a forth movie as well. too bad the killed venom that would have been fun for spiderman 4 a return villain. they could have done so much with him ya know?
8/10
