lmao, i've not seen any trailers about it or anything because i never watch tv but just knowing that it's GI Joe leads me to believe that the movie won't be done right. movies that that almost never are

i have a friend who is quite a film critic (all artsy and stuff), he said it wasn't bad. fun and full of action. i guess you have to watch your mindset. go in thinking it is super horrible, only to be delighted it isn't. paid off more then once for me with supa crap movies.

well i enjoyed G.I. JOE i think it was entertaining at least...yes alot could have been worked on SOOOO MUCH MORE! but in the end i thought it was not that bad.

I went in with the mindset that it was going to be great. full of action and lasers and only good things I saw was baroness and the 2 ninja's Snake eyes and storm shadow. but I thought the script was to much like a daytime cartoon from the 80's
"What did you say YOUR unit was called?"

I just saw Deep Impact. I guess it was good I might not have been in the right mood for it tho I thought it was kinda sad. 3/5

Blood the Last Vampire - 7.5/10
Live action movie from the original anime.. The original was way better. but this has fighting scenes in it like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon kind.. so if you like japanese cinema. you'll probably enjoy the fighting scenes as I did.

Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs - 10/10
Absolutely classic movies.. I recommend to watch them if you haven't seen them.

Sin City - 8/10
A solid 8, wanted to give it a 9, but I thought it was too fan boyish.. I liked it though. good dark comic book flick. Very awesome.

hey, out of the first 3 movies, it was the only one with some real emotion in the acting.

Sword of DOOm. 1960's b&w samurai moovie. guy was a bad ass with the sword. kinda like a clint eastwood type of guy. it was pretty good, 7/10

Children Of Huang Shi - 5.5/10
Piece of **** movie, I tell ya. Starring that one azn dude from Stranglehold and all those other horrible cop movies, and a British guy that looks pissed off 24/7. The real "events" that it was inspired from deserved much better.

Mongol - 9/10
I may have rated this already, but it's worth mentioning again. Amazing foriegn film. I did a project on it for school and got an A+ for it. YES

Friday The 13th - the remake - 4/10. I'm not a fan of the way they're changing the rules of the teen slasher flicks with the remakes. That's all I'll say about that, so I don't give any spoilers.

Valkyrie - 7/10

Overall this movie was good, not enough action though. I knew the story of the hitler assasination attempt prior to watching the movie, so watching the movie wasn't all that exciting because I knew what was going to happen. But the parts in the movie where you expect big things.. fell short, short fight scenes, and alot more talk than anything else. I was expecting alot more, but it is a very interesting story if you don't know it...

One other thing, I don't know about you guys, but anytime I see Tom Cruise now I just think "scientology freak".. and it makes it hard to take him seriously in movies lol

it was a bad sequel
nick cage seems content in it tho so I guess money can buy happiness.
some parts were ok but they did not even follow the mytho they set for themselves in the first film.
that is what killed it.

District 9 - 9.75/10
Favorite movie of the year so far, besides maybe Gran Torino. The action and gore was awesome. Only thing that annoyed me was that it got a little slow sometimes.
Also saw previews of The Book Eli with Denzel Washington, and a movie that looks like Left 4 Dead called Zombieland

a boy and his dog. there wasn't really a plot, other then what's his name wanted to get laid. yeah, that really about covers it. it was kind of boring. rumour has it, the dog in this movie is what inspired dogmeat in fallout games. 6/10.

District 9...10/10...awesome movie...didnt expect it to be sooo good...also a favorite of mine just watched earlier...FEARLESS...10/10...jet li at his best...havent seen a martial arts movie this good in awhile..I guess thats why its one of my favorites!
