Posts: 5,094 | They have a great young defense but with a rook as the HB and only Driver as their go-to receiver, I don't know if they can make the playoffs this early in the season. They are in the weakest division in the league so it is entirely plausible they can do it. |

Posts: 2,073   | I really dont like the points system. Shouldnt it be nice and simple. Win a game get a point lose a game and not get penalized. Person with most wins wins! I wish it would be more like fantasy football instead of the little details that can help u gain more points. Some people will face other persons teams then others. What i mean is some people will face actual picked teams rather than teams that no one chose and will sway who wins. For example, i pick the colts and they beat the texans i dont get a point because no one picked them hypothetically or i do get a point but no one is losing points from losing since they didnt pick that team but next week my team loses against another members team. That means i lost a game and won a game but im negative 1 down the hole!?Thats just my opinion as i look at my 40 points sitting 11th place.

Posts: 5,094 | My fantasy football works with records while points are used as tie breakers. This contest also works based off record but unlike FF, you are trying to correctly predict who will win out. Since we have 12 teams the person with the best record does win I just haven't updated the rules. Nobody has been penalized any points, nobody has had any points taken away. To date, selected teams that have won are given points and selected teams that lose have been awarded nothing. It's set up this way because each division winner plays their division opponents twice every year. The Colts will play the Titans, Texans, and Jaguars twice each season. You are 0-3 because the teams you played scored more points than you. If you have the Colts as a division winner and I have the Texans as a division winer and they play against each other, the winner is awarded with 5 points as explained in the rules. However, if we both have the Colts and the Pats as division winners and they play each other, each player will be awarded 2 points regardless of who won. In a nut shell you are awarded more points if your division winner beats another players different division winner. |
