It's a WORLD cup, therefore it is international teams (well, you Americans seem to think world means just yourselves when it comes to baseball...) so, are you telling me you can't name one country in the world? Excellent...
I'm going for South Africa...the Spring Bocks have something up their sleeves. |

But realisticly i cant see us beating Australia or New zealand, this is going be a though WC for all and i'd say theres going be lots of surprises, this aint the 6 nations.

Posts: 2,812 | Let's not be foolish. I know so little about Rugby I don't even know that they call their teams by their country. I wouldn't be able to tell you the name of 1 player or if any team from any country was half decent. Also, don't be an idiot, ofcourse I can name countries. Though I would have to agree with the baseball thing, World Series is just a ridiculous name when it's only U.S teams. |

Posts: 2,812 | Like I said, I dno nething about Rugby other than it's like American Football with no pads. Could there possibly be more than one team per country? Maybe, doesn't England have more than one team for Soccer(Football)? If England has more than one team for Soccer(Football) do you think it would be reasonable to think that New Zealand has more than one team for Rugby? |

My American box, lol if I ask you right now how many pit crews does a 2 man team in F1 have, and you answer whatever answer you say, are you not thinking outside you Drunken Potato box even though you don't watch F1? |

Posts: 2,812 | I'm perfectly relaxed no worries. My question is, you said that in Football, Brazil has many teams. So if they have many teams wouldn't they have different names instead of all being called Brazil? If they have many teams, can't 2 teams from Brazil make it into the Finals? OR do the Brazil teams have to play each other to find out who is the best to represent Brazil, then that team will go to World Cup? Or am I just babbling on? |

Not club teams from the particular countries. The teams are made up of the best players from each country.

For example Ireland has 4 club teams in rugby leagues Munster,Ulster,Connaght and Leinster they play against french club sides and english club sides like london wasps and marseille all rugby teams, but club teams not national teams. In the world cup Ireland plays as Ireland the national team so the best from the 4 club teams would play in the Irish side aswell as other players aslong as there Irish.

Posts: 3,238 | Hopefully some of it will be on TV over here. I know a little about how the game is played, but nothing of which teams to watch for. That being said, Laos is the clear favorite this year.
