Really? I think the Final Fantasy series is good. The story line on each game is always new and the content is always fresh. They usually change up the battle system in every game as well.

I don't think square is milking the series at all. The quality of the series was always good in terms of graphics, game play, and story. Usually when a series is milked the quality of tends to go down over time. EA games anyone?

I don't know the stats on RPG gamers but I would assume most people buy these games for good story lines and long lasting game play (length to complete the game). Thats what Final Fantasy games were always good for. But as always, different strokes for different fokes.

Lets say if Square used unreleased Final Fantasy story lines and came up with a title for each one, do you think it would make a difference?
Also, if square released Chrono Trigger and Xenogears under the Final Fantasy name, would it have mattered?

FF story lines are original? They have had the same story line for the last 10 games. Allow me to sum up: Emo kid with crazy hair and no shirt on (but a sweet vest!) has to fight to save planet from unspeakable evil and ride giant chickens.

In general, isn't almost every game a save the world or save the princess or save something? Yes, Final Fantasy falls in this criteria but its about the good art of story telling that makes the series interesting. Also, there are usually other plots or mini "stories within the story" that adds to the games' quality.

This series doesn't look like its going to die. Most of the games hit platinum status and received good reviews. Why kill the series off?

Tony Hawk - Let your career emulate your pixelated self.
Tomb Raider - Its just over, over.
Sonic - Last good one was on Dreamcast. Die now please.
Megaman - Has enemies with imaginative names like Cutman? Pass.
Armored core - Lets be honest. None of these games were good.
Crash the Bandicoot - It was cool on PS1 the first few times, but now, well its just pathetic.
Castlevania - ITS ALWAYS THE SAME THING!
Medal of Honor - Call of dutys been better since COD2, we hate you and your Nazis. Stop making games.
Zelda - Im just not into it. And never hearing its fanboys again would be nice.
Dynasty Warriors - Unless they give us custom maps, online co-op, online pvp, and a little more variation of moves, stop making games.

Phew, that was nice to get off my shoulders.
