Posts: 5,094 | After the fourth round? Charles you are obviously oblivious. Mayweather is too quick and he is not going to stand and throw with Hatton. He will dance around the ring for the majority of the fight throwing in counter combos. Expect Hatton to keep the pressure on Floyd because Ricky is lethal at close quarters. I say it goes the distance and it will be a split decision in favor of Hatton. By the numbers Mayweather will beat him for punches thrown & landed but I think The Hitman will put him to the canvas at least twice which ends up a 10-8 round. |

I haven't seen a great deal of Mayweather, I didn't know he danced around the ring. All i'm hoping for really is a good fight.

Posts: 5,094 | Mayweather is good and has a solid right hook. He's quick and agile and a damn good boxer even though he is an arrogant ass. I hope Hatton takes him out but I'm not 100% sure he will. If Mayweather can do one thing well its put up points. We'll see on Saturday. |

Posts: 2,812 | They both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Mayweather has gone up a weight to meet Hatton, giving him a disadvantage. Mayweather does have a 2 inch reach on Hatton though, giving him a slight advantage. I think that Mayweather will come out on top. |

Posts: 5,094 | No, Mayweather has been a welterweight (147) for a while now. Obviously he wasn't a Super Lightweight when he fought De La Hoya now was he? Pretty Boy Floyd does have a reach but that advantage is easily eliminated by keeping it up close and personal. That's how Tyson won the majority of his fights at 5''11 and how Hasim Rahman knocked out Lennox Lewis who had an easy 4-5 inch reach advantage on him. If he meets his pace, stays in his grill, and lets go of his hands when Mayweather drops in a corner (as he did so many times in the De La Hoya fight) Hatton has a good chance at a KO. Also, Hatton has the heart of a ****ing champion and I doubt he will even be fazed at all by Mayweather's punches.

Posts: 5 | And Hatton is KTFO'd in the 10th. There's a shocker. All this stuff about Hatton fighting inside and it countering Mayweathers reach, blah blah blah. Yeah, he wasn't "fazed at all by Mayweather's punches", LOL!
I always get a good laugh out of European boxing fans because their fighters never seem to match up to American fighters, except for possibly Lennox Lewis.
Mayweather, best boxer ever? Could be...

Mayweather, best boxer ever? Could be... | Um, I'm American you dumb **** I just have an Irish flag because I'm a proud alcoholic. I haven't watched the fight as my power was out for 24 hours thanks to the massive snow storm but when I do I'll be better able to comment. Also, when you fight inside IT DOES eliminate the reach advantage and if you knew anything about anything you would know that. FFS, I cited 2 ****ing examples are you that dense? Best ever? HAHA Hardly. Let's see him move up to Middleweight to fight Pavlik or Taylor because the coward has been sitting at 140-154 for damn near a decade. And that my friends is just 100% righteous truthiness!!! |
