Post opinions and say what you like and don't like about the genre or bands or whatever, etc. If you're a musician post what instrument and style of music you play if you enjoy it or not etc etc. May the discussions begin!!! I play the Piano/Keyboard and the acoustic guitar (for now), I love playing rock, just about any type of rock except punk. A list of some of my favorite bands are: Rage Against The Machine Led Zepplin ACDC Alice In Chains Ash Pearl Jam Priestess......and more You don't have to be a musician to post in this thread just talk about anything you want that's related to music.

Gotta love Dahlia man, saw them live and I have to say I'll never experience anything like that again. They were opening for Despised Icon, which is another great band. The only trouble is finding people that like the same taste of music as us. They all just think its **** or its not music and it makes me ****ing sick.

A few fave bands: Slayer, Disturbed, Kiss, Motorhead, Pantera, Danzig, Limp Bizkit (the metal stuff), Korn, Cannibal Corpse I don't care for a lot of new metal bands (I like the speed of the music but vocals are terrible) |

I'm willing to bet none of us are actually going be recording artists so why argue over "selling out" or "staying true". It's trivial. Let's just talk about music and keep the arguments to a minimum. |

I just can't stand bands that are so mainstream its sick like Greenday, NewfoundGlory, Good charleotte etc. Im talking about bands that are actually known but not complete sell outs for example. NoFX, The Misfits, Sex Pistols, Blackflag etc. They all have money but they don't suck their labels dick like a bunch of other of these new MTV bands ( Falloutboy, All american Rejects, so on and so forth). I have to release my rage somehow.

Posts: 440 | I'm trying to play guitar...not very good yet. My favorite band is Nirvana, but I love punk(Black Flag, Misfits, NoFx, Bad Religion, Minor Threat, Teen Idles, and some Ska....etc.) and some alternative and metal(thrash). I dabble in a lot of different music though |
