Psp Opinion

I have an opportunity to buy a psp for 200.00, I dont know much about the system.Is it typical sony junk or should I get it? How are the graphics? I also get some game called wipeout.

I just got rid of my PSP. The games are too expensive and most of them are ports. Madden does not have the vision cone for PSP. I would rather spend the money on a console game. Plus the movies are straining on your eyes. If you have money to spend on PSP games and if you really want a handheld i would go for it but for me it wasn't worth it.

The UMD is not a widely accepted standard at all. it floors me that anyone would by a movie in that format.

I think its good. I like the PSP. It will have a variety of games coming to it later on this Fall/Winter. I'll dump the PSP once MS makes an Xbox portable

Most of the UMDs are actually more expensive than the DVDs.

For example, I've seen The One on DVD for £5. On UMD, it's £20. Why the hell would you pay £15 more for the same film, only to be played on a smaller screen? It makes no sense, and I wish people would realise that.

psp sucks it is xpensive and not good at all, if i were you i would buy xbox 360 games or something else (remember it is a sony product)

Bah get yourself a ds now thats a mans console, on a side note anyone seen resident evil ds, use the stylust to slash the knife the mic to breathe and apparently you wipe blood off the screen with the stylus

I HATE SONY,but I do have a psp and a Ds. the psp can go wi-fi online, save jpeg pictures, watch umd movie and music videos and you can save like 2 mp3 songs. Its actually good, but the games suck, and there so much downloading its ***. The reason get a psp now is there are so hawks, like playing doom or super nes games and sega. Personaly I got it because i had cash and i was bord. And all i do now is fine a wi-fi spot and downlaod porn. The ds better when it comes to games, plus you have picto chat and it realy fun. But my choice, dont buy any. Its been almost a year for Ds and still nothing i like out there.

Actuallt I had a PSP with firmware 1.5 and axctually put games from the UMD's on the actual memory stick

Thanks for the input it made my mind up.I am going to take xpitbull's advice and buy two 360 games and an extra controller.(BUT..if I dont get another controller no one else can play)..hm.hm.

with owning both the DS and PSP i must say I have had more fun with the PSP I am sorry to say.

Brotherhood of the blade a very very good game and very engrosing.
Medievil again a great game.
Lumins a adictive puzzle game on par with tetris IMO.
F1 GP again more my type of racer more aracie though than it;s big brother F1 2005.

ATM the only DS game I like is Mario 64. Still waiting for a game to realy engrose me in to the machine.
Only games I am looking forward to are.

Animal Crossing
Resi (when it comes)
MetPrime Hunt.

Shame as i did expect more from the DS but I am totaly board of it ATM.

Also I have had more fun with the PSP than i thought i would.
