umm currently i've been watchin full metal(that show is freakin sweet), some inuyasha, cowboy bebop, naruto(although yes naruto's voice does suck) and a couple others i can't remember.

I watched Akira a couple of nights ago. Last night I started Ghost in a Shell.

I don't watch a lot of Anime, but it does have some merit. I would sure like to put in my 2 cents to some of the directing, but i say that about most movies.

It's understandable, my first reaction is "attack!!!" as well. All things considered, you handled the sitaution rather well.

On topic: Although I watched Akira, I felt a little empty afterwards. Was it me, or was the plot a little too open for the movie. I still haven't conceptualized the ending. They all disappear with Akira, Neo Tokyo is destroyed, the dude gets the chick, and, yeah, that's about it. I missed something. Where does Akira go and why didn't he leave the first time he... blew up?

Dont worry, if you watched as much anime like me, you will get used to it. There are a lot of series who use mombo jumbo like that, to keep people guessing what was going on. Hell, some anime creaters take pride into messing with peoples minds

And unless my memory is failing me with Akira, Neo Tokyo is damaged but not destroyed.

I'd recommend watching s-CRY-ed on comcast, Adult Swim, or rent the DVD if you can . Its a good series. It starts out slow, then picks up on action and has some of a story. I love Ryuho he's soo cool!
