What cancelled shows would you like to see back on TV
With Family Guy and now Futurama making their return to tv after going off the air. I was wondering what other cancelled shows you guys would like to see back. My two would be Invader Zim and Journeyman.
Invader zim was just soo over the top, crazy, funny and had a sick sence of humor. Nickelodeon was def. not the right place for the show to be and i would love to see adult swim on cartoon network showing it.
Journeyman was sorta like an updated quantum leap. It probably got cancelled due to the writers strike that happened during that year.
Does it have to be a cartoon? Never seen Journeyman or Invader Zim.
But I would like shows like That 70's Show and George Lopez to return. Loved those shows.
Doesnt have to ba a cartoon. Journeyman was a live action show starring Kevin McKidd who starred in Dog Soldiers(great werewolf movie if you haven't seen it) and Moon Bloodgood who was in Terminator Salvation.
considering most shows get stale and lame i don't want any of my old favorites to make a return, but for the sake of the thread lets pretend that they would be just as fresh and awesome as they were when they were at their best. they're mostly old nickelodeon shows lol
pete & pete
clarissa
malcolm in the middle
the sopranos
rugrats
the office (the original one)
eerie indiana
that 70s show
rockos modern life
there are tons more but i'm drawing a blank and those are all i can think of at the moment
edit: married with children!!!! good call remix!

The Batman animated series, i grew up with this, and it was awsome, Im not counting that cartoon network show, batman the brave and the bold, im talking about The olod school cartoon.
Batman the animated series is a great one... well before it became The Adventures of Batman & Robin. If they could get the writes and the studio that did the really good looking episodes of the first season i would be all over that.
The newer series The Batman was pretty good but i really didnt like the style of the characters. But the original batman animated series was a classic, it introduced the world to harley quinn and were all thankful for that.
Jesus, Pirates of Dark Waters, Married with Children, Batman TAMS man all great shows I used to watch back in the day.
I will second Quantum Leap and I want Sliders man, I f*ckin' loved that series.
Another thing I want is a DIRECT continuation of the Transformer's G1 series. It was the Original Transformers, and then Beast Wars(which was totally awesome) and I wouldn't mind another DIRECT continuation of the story. The other ones had to do with the story, but it wasn't a direct continuation of the events that had occurred in the G1 series. And f*ck Beast Machines, that **** was stupid, that's why it got canceled.
I also wouldn't mind Reboot.

You guys keep on impressing. I remember there were rumors not so long ago about a new reboot series but i havent heard anything about it in a while. And beast wars should have ended with no need for beast machines to be made.
Speaking of reboot heres another thought, If the show was to come back what would you want it to be, a reboot, spinoff or a direct continuation.
Sadly i havent seen Firefly the series but ive caught the movie Serenity a few times. If the movie is any indication on how great the series was i really missed out.
Too bad i missed out on the greatness of Summer Glau untill she came back with Terminator: TSCC.... which is another great show that got cancelled whith more than a few questions left unanswered.
I second Arrested Development, really hope those plans for a movie come through. Is it me or does Fox have a habit for getting rid of great shows only so we can have more reruns and american idol?
