Default got a problem burning dvds

ok i have ff7 advent children on my comp and i burned it to a dvd and everything works right except the pixels will mess up and turn like green and pink and stuff (kinda like they are temperarly dying). i know it happened when i burned it because when i play the file in my dvd player on my comp it works fine so i'm wondering if it's my dvd or if it's the program i used(i used divxtodvd to burn it). if you know what it could be plz tell me bc this gets annoying.

P.S. the type of dvd that i'm using is phillips dvd+r 1-8x 4.7gb 120min

It might be your media. I tried burning some iso images on philips dvd-r for xbox and had similar problem. I switched to ritek and they worked fine. Other than that you could try a different program to convert files.

As kingsmaker said, I'd bet your media is the problem. When purchasing DVD-R's, always go with the name brands. With the cheaper ones, you're asking for trouble. Same goes for CDR's/RW's

i also might think it is my dvd player having problems reading it since it is burned because i took it to my friends house and he has like a real nice dvd player and we watched it on that and it looked awesome and worked fine so i dunno i'm still gonna try some other things and see.
