The Chargers' almost made it because of LaDainian Tomlinson's poor sport remarks about the Patriots and Bill Belichick after we beat them for our hunt for the Super Bowl. He is generally a very stand up guy, so I'll give him a waiver on that one.

| sorry, that was back when they were winning games with their eyes closed just cuz they are in the NFC. I dont hate them anymore, i even rooted for them in the superbowl. (i predicted the Devin Hester opening kickoff runback for a TD)
my new list:
1.Indianapolis Colts
2.Indianapolis Colts
3.Indianapolis Colts
4.Indianapolis Colts
5.Indianapolis Colts
soon to be renamed the Peyton Manning Colts. (he is 80% of that team and no one can argue) the other 20% is vinatieri.

the defense is so high because their whole team sucks, they just got hot at a lucky time like the Rush did in the AFL(they were 7-9 in the regular season, not even a blinded fan can say they were best in the league)
and if you take away reggie, teams double cover marvin, stack 8 in the box, whatever they dont have a decent 3rd WR, and there isn't anything peyton can do. same reason for marvin. i may be a little biased as i have the defensive lineman mentality that QBs are the devil, but the QB position is highly overrated, as it is the O line that lets them sit back in the pocket untouched( colts have one of the top O lines in the league statistically), the recievers get open, and all the QB has to do is not screw it up. also peyton is highly overrated. he does not do well under pressure(tommie woulda ****ed him up in the super bowl, but that's another story) and he has arguably the best 2 WRs in the NFL |

I gotta give that O line some credit.
