Friendly Fire Video(Blue on Blue Situation)

I seen this last night on Sky News and wow, its actually very shocking to watch and to hear the US pilots talk to each other as they realise they have just killed a friendlys(a blue on blue situation as they call it) is very shocking and sad.

It justs show how easy it is to kill friendly specially from the sky, and just makes you wonder how many civilians are killed from US/UK bombs dropped form the air.

But I do feel sorry for the US pilots of course it was an accident and its probably traumatised them, but you gota wonder why the US government denied the tape existed and wouldn’t realise it to the widow of the UK soldier in her court case to find out what happened to her husband.
And the whole thing of the US not accepting the court case is on, as the US don’t bring there soldiers to courts or anything like that as its against there army law or something...shocking stuff.

friendly fire is a fact of war happens in every combat action since time began. Sad it happens as there is no 100% way to prevent friendly fire from ever happening.

I think you are jumping the gun a bit here. I doubt scott has any problem with the soldier, its the fact that the US govenment denied the tapes existence and withheld information. I cant imagine what that soldiers wife was going through, not knowing how or why is just as bad as the loss of a loved one. I know. Although it was an accident someone needs to be held accountable. These are proffessional soldiers. and someone isnt doing their job!!!

remember the one about the 4 canadians killed 4 years ago mind you that one was blamed on the pilots and they were found to be at fault.

releasing the tapes would be hazardous to the pilots safety. many americans are crazy rednecks, and these guys are in the air force, they can't defend themselves. they get basically no ground combat training and would be an easy hit
