21 PS3 games available 11/17 - PlayStation 3 News at GameSpot

I'd say its a decent selection. The 360 launch was nothing to write home about. If I didnt own a 360 I'd easily pick up Call of Duty 3 and Resistence. I usually never go more than 2 games on launches just for price purposes. Some good alternates would've been Fight Night 3 and Oblivion.

I would've gone with R6 Vegas but Ubi seems more Xbox friendly in their Clancy games as they sucked on PS2 (not because of specs, because of pure laziness), so I would've skipped that.

Excellent list. I love all those games i already preordered madden 07, resistence fall of man, oblivion, F.E.A.R., and rainbow six vegas along with my first preorder at my local ebgames for a 60gb model PS3. Im Siked I Cant Wait!!!

Well, its a nice list, as good or better then the 360's, but the fact remains that if you already have a 360 I didnt see anything to go buy the ps3 for. Ill buy it eventually but I dont feel like I am missing much at launch. Plus the 360 has alot of other games coming out too. I tend to go for the system that has the most and best games and thats why I always had a playstation, and that is why I have a 360 now. It was here first and based on its game list it is here too stay. This is one playstation fan that will stick with his 360 exclusively for a while longer, but in about 12 months from now they will have to share space and I cant wait.

Of course the 360 has a lot more games coming out right now - developers have been learning the system for 2 years. Developers for the PS3 are still learning the system because they only got dev kits this summer. When the PS3 reaches its second holiday (in North America at least), it will have a strong release calendar just as the 360 has this coming holiday.

not a game on this list that i want that i cant get on 360 with the exception of Resistance:Fall of Man

P.S. Blaz is right about the Tom Clancy games not being good on the PS2

I know the reason the 360 has more games is because developers have had two years to develop. I know the PS3 will have alot of games when it reaches its second holiday. That is my whole point. I got the 360 because I love gameing and it was the only next gen option. Im just saying that now that I have such a selection with the 360 I feel like I can wait until next year to buy the PS3 when it also has a nice selection and the game developers are on their second go around. Doesnt that make sense?

I really don't see why people should have a problem with My Xbox360 = Sexehness wanting a PS3, and I don't even see why his post is a 'typical fanboy' one at that.

Thanks. I guess they just dont like me defending the PS3, I defend the 360 on other sites! I defend any console that im going to get.

But does the 360 actually need defending here? I have looked but have not seen any posts about people bashing the 360 here, just the PS3, thats why I defend it here.
