Motorstorm Demo Review

Well i went to target all excited to play the ps3 ...yeaa well WAS excited until i actually played the system...I was expecting something innovative..new ...different. maybe even some realistic graphics but all i got was choppy graphics on some of the vehicles and almost all of the environment models, long load times, and a really slow paced racing game with an old guy standing behind me saying "This is whats suppose to be worth 600? HA! "

so basically playstation 3 has dissapointed me and The thing that really REALLY disgusted me was the Button in the middle of the controller..hold it in and it shuts off the system...Seem familiar? yea..ps3? i think ill pass

Uh huh sure. This Thread seems like nothing but a MS fanboy trying to lower moral at anyone who wants to buy a PS3.

That motorstorm game that you played was not the final retail version.

It could have been a standard tv , that what made the game look choppy.

And the one that took the cake was the old man saying hah this is worth $600?

Um lets see here Xbox= Sexehness... I Already explained that im not against the playstation 3 but from what i played i really didnt feel as if ps3 really delivered in what they promised.. it just wasnt that exciting or new And I would think that would be the final version seeing as that game is a launch title and it will be out in a few days and yes it was Definitely a 720P HighDef tv i was playing on..Kiosks never have standard Definition tvs

Look, My xbox, he's played the PS3 and is completely entitled to his own opinion...lay off him. Secondly, the kiosks are on BRAVIA KDL TV's so they are anything but "standard".

Neither system is worth the money the companies are charging for them, but as long as people are willing to spend it, they will continue to do so.

BTW, Vamp...how's the SIXAXIS? That's something I really want to know about, the PS2's dualshock was always a bit too small for my hands (it gave me cramp after a while, like the PSP) but I heard they made it a little bigger.

How long were the loading times? And do you know if they were demos stored on the HDD or on a Blu-ray disk?

The tv's that are being used on the PS3 kiosks are either the 40 or 46 inch XBR2 or XBR3. So like you said, they are no way SDTV.

Naa, they aren't that big. I've seen the kiosk with someone playing. They look about 26 Inch, slightly bigger than those on Xbox 360 kiosks.

Odd, I've seen a pic of a PS3 kiosk from Best Buy and they were using the 40 or 46 inch XBR3.
