PS3: every where /Wii: impossible to find

know WAY to late) and the first place i went was to my fry's electronics store. i asked the guys if they got any wiis and he said there all out. then he asked me "why get a wii when u can get a PS3?" i was shocked to be honest and i asked how many PS3s they had and he said at least 60!!. i didn't believe him and he pointed behind me and there there was PS3s on slabs stacked up to about 6/8 feet. i wanted to take a picture with my cell phone cuz i thought it was ironic. but the ass of a security guard said i couldn’t.. so i went to other placed like game stop and EB games and they all had at least 2 PS3s and no Wii. EVEN! Fred Mayer had one PS3 but no Wii.

i just find this so ironic to be honesty.

What are ur guy's thoughts when it comes to this years holiday season. is the PS3 that big of a buts? is this signs of things to come from Sony? is the Wii on the right track to winning this generation? Will the wii even stay appealing to consumers in two years time?

i know what you mean, my family still cant get there hands on a wii for my brother, and they checked 7 dif. stores for 3 weeks now.

yea i went to gamestop and they have a sign on the door that says "we have PS3s"

also taking pictures of something gives information on security, and lets take $600 times 60. that's $36000 worth of PS3.

I went to walmart last night and they had about 5-10 in. The guy behing the counter said they've had them in for a few days now sitting there. Its strange too, that isle is always packed. Oh well, I still refuse to buy one til mid next year, no matter how tempting it is. I dont need to spend 600 dollars on a piece of crap just yet. Come on just 4 more months.

I think both of the systems kind of suck....monkeyballz....
I don't like motion sensors...at all...I've tried it, and didn't like it in the slightest. Plus the gfx don't allow me to get into it much for the Revolution (I don't like calling it Wii).
The PS3 is too long a discussion that I'm not in the mood for right now...
XBOX 360 is perfect.

YEa PS3 SUCKS BUT YEA I GOT A Wii ON EBAY FOR $400 AND I THINK ITS GREAT THE XBOX 360 IS BETTER BUT IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE I WOULD RECOMMEND THE WII OVER THE PLAYSTATION IF YOU WANT ANOTHER SYSTEM BECAUSE ITS JUST SO UNIQUE AND AWSOME COMPARED TO PS3.

SO UMM GUY WHO SAID THEY CANT FIND A WII TRY LOOKING ON EBAY I FOUND ONE EASILY FOR 400$

$400 for a $250 system. uh ghem.. um wait 1 more week, and u will find them everywhere once the xmas rush is over.

ps3 can stay in the isles. Wii will break or rock on that controller. If they can keep comming up w/ new ways to use it and keep it fun, the wii will go strong for a long time. Its the same gamble sony is using on their Blueray (but much much less expencive). Looks like one of the gambles is paying off.

400$ isnt that much for a 250$ system thats impossible to find and theres no way there is going to be w wii in every store after christmas just like the 360 wasn't.

and about the money look how much some people bought the ps3 for on ebay...1000$-10,000$ so an extra 150 for a console that is impossible to find isnt that much

I was at my local gamestop the other day, and I played both the Wii, and the PS3. Honestly, I had a lot of fun with the Wii. Sure the graphics don't hold a candle to my beloved 360's, but I did smile while playing. I also played the PS3. The controller felt weird compared to the PS2. It felt too light in weight, and the "trigger" buttons felt weird while pushing them to play.

Not to mention look at the launch titles for both consoles. The Wii has more titles that a general populatin would enjoy, where as the PS3 has a few select games that doesn't make me (personally) want a PS3.

I do however still play my PS2. (socom 2 and combined assault mainly), and I would not trade my PS2 for a PS3 at the moment.

Yeah, right now I think the Wii is totally killing the PS3. The launch titles for the PS3 personally suck. I played both the Wii and the PS3 and the controller just makes the games much more fun and make me want the Wii more than the PS3. Plus, I've called every electronic store in town and no one has Wii's, but they have a ton of PS3, so you can see from the stocks who is going to win this. Also, I don't think anyone wants to pay 600 bucks for a game system, not anyone who I've talked to at least. Just my thoughts.

Me and my uncle went to six different stores, looking for a wii for my cuzzin, everysingle store was out of wii, and loaded with Ps3's..........ironic....

To me both systems are pretty ****ty. The Ps3 is way too pricey and now with more and more exclusives coming over too the 360 what's really the point in having one. And The Wii looks like it would get boring very quickly.

Was in the local WalMart and saw 2 PS3's on the shelf. I'm not sure if nobody knew they were there or that they just didn't care. Perhaps the latter. I did take notice that same WalMart sold 360's like hotcakes at Christmas. Another thing, this past Christmas season I noticed that the PS3 kiosk at Gamestop didn't have many people playing it unlike the 360 when it came out. Same store had people glued to it for weeks when it first came out and people still pay more attention to it than the Sony display.

I saw 10 ps3's on my base exchange here in colorado. Hahah I was bored os i started playing that lousy demo of call of duty 2 and this fanboy was carrying his little ps3 by the handle. I shook my head.
