Fake Ps3's At Gamestop!

I recently took a trip to gamestop as i usually do weekly,i saw the ps3 machine there and was watching the video they had playing on the kiosk,the employee was talking to me and said that the system was fake,when i took a look the system had no plugs into it on the side,i asked the employee why it was fake he stated that a mojority of ps3's that were in gamestops had burned up inside,and instead of sony putting out a new ones they sent them a fake plastic ps3,he said that it was jus for show and that a dvd player that was hidden under the kiosk was playing the game trailers,he said thats why u cant play any of the games for it,wut also was funny was that the videos they were showing showed no ingame play but only c/g, i dont know if thats wuts going on at your gamestop but i would like to know thank u!

That is quite lazy, my gamestation shop have a real 360 and PS2 and GC, hell even a DS lite! PS3 is teh geh though if thats what they are doing. People will walk in and think it is all gameplay. They will buy one and realise its not!

The Wii kiosks dont event have ways to paly them unless you go to one of the really big centers, Sony and Nintedo have gone mad!lol

i was at target the othet day and saw the ps3, but of course someone else was playing it so i went to look at other things, i came back and nobody was there but of course it was froze!!! so it was a real one but it froze. also the gamestop near me has real ps3.

another mistake for sony, whats next the controler starts burining peoples hands!?!?!?!

Why do they get hot? I can't see why, i mean 360 doesn't, or mobile phones for that matter, guess its just Sony batteries

I can't wait to have a go of the PS3, but i am waiting till march. I will pass full judgement when i get a good go on one, using all the applications in it, so basically waiting for a friend to buy it!

Seriously though, that is messed up. Tryin' to con people that it is running on a PS3 FTL.

I was in my Gamestop the other day and noticed both the PS2 AND PS3 were down. The clerk said they were both broken and they didn't have a replacement. Neither were playing trailers, just donned a black screen. The Wii display was up, with a black screen, but you were required to leave some form of ID with the clerk to use the Wiimote so you could play. Come to think of it, the PS3 at my wal mart was off line today. Hmmmm.....

i went to gamestop today again, and all systems were down except the ds, i didnt ask why tho because they were very busy??? who knows?!?!?!

I hate it when i want to try a system out and it is down or the power is not switched on! I think Gamestation by me, are 360 fanboys. They never have the 360 off and have all the kick ass games on!

i've never even seen a PS3 or Wii, they dont even have the demo stations anywhere in town. maybe ill go to best buy when im in anchorage

I have seen 1 PS3 in action at a Walmart with Motostrom running on it. I have seen 1 Wii, just the console turned on, at Target. It was unplayable because someone had stolen the Wiimote. So it was just running a PR disc about Nintendo innovation. I have seen PS3s for sale as well, but no Wii inventory.

All 360s I have seen (in store kiosks) have been running games.

wow.. why im a not surprised.. this is just like sony.. showing CG videos on a (DVD player) and displaying a fake PS3 making people believe what there seeing is real game play.. thats why im not buying a PS3. sony seems to have no respect for the consumer any more.

about the Wii. at my mall they have a huge wii playing center in the middle of the mall square with around 10 wiis in a cercal all running different games everything from racing, sports to even Zelda. With big lines of people waiting to try it. I saw this older guy really getting into his tennis game..haha.. but yeah all the wiis looked like they worked fine. Over all the wii really looked good.

i've seen some wii games in stores. we really dont get much as far as video games are concerned here in the interior

I know everyone keeps saying ,"Well the PS3 was just released so there will be bugs"...but come on!! How many of us have seen frozen PS3's at our local stores. I NEVER remember seeing frozen 360s at local stores on their launch.
