When was the last time you heard of a PS3 breaking down? The Xbox 360's reliability is AWFUL. You've had to send a 360 away (twice, if I'm not mistaken) and I've had to send back one. Terrible.

As you said... Only a few of each... but whatever.

2. Multicard... Right... And what's that again? And when do I need it? Please tell me, because I don't know at the moment...
3. Wifi? That's only in the 60gb version if I'm not mistaken? Besides, if I wanted wifi I'd buy a Nintendo DS...
4. To my PSP that I'll have to purchase for 1800 kronor (about 260 bucks...)? No thanks. And did you just say around the world...? Dude... cut the marketing crap... Please...

And actually I have heard of PS3:s breaking down... Also I've heard that PS2 games look awful on the PS3 (YouTube - The TRUTH about the PS3's backwards compatibility... ...).

And that you're buying two consoles doesn't mean you're not a fanboy.. It means you have money...

Remix, the IPTV, DVR functions and TV and movie downloads aren't available (or will be in the UK) so it means nothing to me. Yes, the streaming does annoy me as I do that often with my 360, the rumble is something I'll get used too. The HD scaling has been fixed to the best of my knowledge. Achievement points doesn't really mean anything (if anything it's a good thing..achievements can get addictive

). The games is something the 360 has that the other doesn't but that will all change.

I could add a few more for the PS3 too:

-Internet Browser
-Full keyboard and mouse support for games
-Bluetooth for wireless heaphones (very cool!)
-More USB ports
-No powerbrick (might not seem much but I had a hell of a time positioning mine)

Remember, most of the functions on the 360 now were due to Firmware updates, therefore many of the PS3's weaknesses can be sorted.

I'm not being a fanboy, I'm being reasonable.

Don, you know we're only getting the 60Gb version over here in Europe?

I need the Wifi as I'm using all the LAN ports on my Router already, I have 14 WLAN access points remaining.

The backwards capability has now changed to software emulation which means that it will take some time to get right with software updates but there will be 1000 titles compatible at launch - that's over 5 times what the Xbox 360 had at launch.

oh yea, not to mention that your brittish version of the ps3 wont be as backwards compatible, and will have to rely on horrid software emulation... more for less.. ghack!

i have enough money to buy any or all consoles.. doesnt mean i want to waist my money.. id rather spend it.. well.. doing something else than on a ps3

surprise surprise a ps3 vs 360 thread why can't people see that it's not neccesary to rub other peoples noses in which is the better console they have diffrent capabilities and somewhat of a diffrent way of doing things fck just buy eather one and be happy and quit trying to say to people who have bought either console that it's a piece of crap because it's just gonna end up an argument why? Tell me, Grind...how am I acting more stupid than normal? Because I want to buy another gadget? If so, that makes you a fanboy for not accepting someone else wanting to buy a different console. If you have no stock in Microsoft, how does it effect you in any way? Hey, you're posting in a the Official Playstation 3 thread. If you had no interest in it you would stay well clear of it.

Heck, I owned a PS1 and PS2 before any Xbox so me owning a PS3 is in no way me taking a different outlook on anything. I was always one who enjoyed the fruits from more than 1 tree (no one jumps on anyone else's back for playing PC. How is the PS3 any different?). You know I buy a console for it's racing games. Always have done. Since the Xbox 360 doesn't have enough for me, I'm buying a PS3 for some more.

If you can't cope with that, you're the one with the problem.

. Wtf is with your attitudes? Why do you all care who owns what console? I cant belive this BS. Im sure there are a lot of things that others consider a waste of money but we buy them anyway. I'd rather have a PS3 than not have one. If you dont want one dont buy one. But I'll say again If you dont have one you cant comment. And i'm surprised with your comments Grind I always considered you to be one of the more level headed members of PlanetX360. You're obviously not basing your comments on personal experience. Scott hasnt posted anything other than specs and the reasons he is buying one hes posted nothing that would indicate he's a fanboy. FlyACL however can comment because he owns both. They used a PGR3 pic for GT: Mobile, not GT5...I saw the website

And it was one picture that was changed later that day, they didn't use multiple, as you make out

If GT5 looks anything like (or better) than GT:HD I'll be more than satisfied because GT:HD is the best looking racing game to date.

anything japanese is goin to be more reliable than it's US counterpart. I bet I dont get a single disc read error when I play on my PS3 (when i get one). the 360 is the most unreliable console ever and thats FACT.

dude, theyve had ps3's that havent worked out of the box. everything has an ureliable rate. yea the 360's problems have been highly publicised, but that doesnt mean the ps3 isnt having its problems too. the 360 does not have the most console problems ever.. the PS2 had a multitude of problems out of the box.. if i remember correctly, werent alot of them recalled? anyone remember? the more high tech a device is, the more likely it is to die on ya. ive still had mine cince day one, use it alot, and have never had a problem.

also, its not a problem of being japanese or american. many japanese cars, ala honda/nissan/toyota, are made in america anyways, many american things are made in japan and china. it has to do with quality of manufacturing which is company specific. It also has to do with american companies being buried in overpowered unions

well I owned a PS2 since launch - no issues. Owned a 360 for 5 months. Many issues. Don you try telling me you never had a random disk read error or crash. Just face it, the 360 is the least reliable console available at the moment.
