And that was my point all along. Scot was never a true fan of the Xbox 360, he was a lying, decietful PS3 fanboy keeping himself occupied with the 360 until his beloved console finally made it to his shores (since his posh life afforded him to do so).

The true beauty behind rumble is NOT noticing it. When it is seamlessly integrated into your gaming experience it should not separate from, rather, blend into the experience. It's all very Zen.
What I want to know is if Sony is getting the rumble licensing, how will the early adapters fare??? Are they going to get new controllers send to their houses for free, or is it already in their controllers just waiting to be "unlocked"?

I doubt there will be a free exchange policy. This whole saga has been very embarrasing for sony. I just hope the units that are released in the U.K this month include rumble packs.

Sony won't have it first because the development of their games takes longer to develop (on average) due to the architecture.

The end all be all games that might be (exclusives) are:

Halo 3
Mass Effect
MGS4
Forza 2
GT5
Final Fantasy XXIIIIIII (what ever number it is now)
Fable 2

Either way, there's nothing stopping any of us buying a PS3 if it gets the better games. Some will take it as a hit to their pride...but that's just a bit sad.

not a hit to my pride.. just an unessisary hit to my wallet. No way am i buying a $600 console for just a couple games. I can live without.
besides, i dont like MGS, and when was the last truely great FF?? i just want my ff7 remake!!!
hey.. maybe since god of war is only a PS2 game for sales... maybe GoW3 will be multiplatform since the PS3 doesnt have that many sold yet... theres always something to hope for.
if bluray wins this console war in 20 years, ill buy a player then. till then my hddvd drive upscales my dvd's. close enough for now.
