Proof MGS4 will make its way to the 360. However, if it does not it only provides further proof Konami are just as arrogant as Sony ... Birds of a feather ..........

I hope that's the case. I'd play it on the 360, but I'm sure as hell not buying a Sony for MGS.

I don't know why we'd even want it to come to Xbox... its a game thats being developed for a 50gig Blue-ray disc. In order for us to play it we would need a box set at best... and if you expect it on ONE disc you can only hope for an extremely watered down game that will be lackluster at best in conparison to the freakin PS3 version... and the way that my 360 likes to burn rings into my discs (unprovoked at times) i'm not sure I want to risk a 5 disc box set.

It was one thing back in the day when all the consoles ran off the same DVD format.. but now the development of multi platform games with 360 and PS3 is a little skewed.... the PS3 needs to get its own development cuz the 360 is just holding it back.

.... but dont worry guys... they'll NEVER have Halo!

Of course not! You've shown yourself to be a PS3 fanboy with the handful of posts you have so far, and you need something to cling to. The difference is, you so much as mention a 360 on PS3 forums, and you get flamed or banned. Why are you guys so defensive?

The game's been all but positively confirmed for 360 release about 12 months after PS3 release. Pathetic timeline to be sure, but given that Sony can't even come close to selling a million US consoles during the holiday season, the developer has to go somewhere to recoop their investment.

never seen the facination over mgs. I remember getting mgs3 on the ps2 back in the day, sold that sucka straight away. The stealth thing gets old fast IMO

however i dont doubt that i am missing something from it, does sure appear to have a pretty strong following. Sony is begging for games so they will be counting the days till this and gt5 come out

so, what you're saying here by stating the 360 is holding the ps3 back, is that all ps3 games are ports of 360 games? or that the 360 is kicking so much ass that the entire industry caters to what MS wants and not sony? either way, that doesn't paint a good picture for the ps3 or sony in general.

and having a 360 doesn't make you a halo fan boy. i really don't like halo at all, but i like my 360. and i have a ps2 and i don't have any metal gear games.

Metal Gear is pure crap...I dont know wut all the hype is about,snake is as stiff in his movements as a board,u have to always watch 30min cutscenes...and the gameplay is the same,not to mention the horrible first person views ...I hope konami doesnt bring it over to 360...Ohhh konami did mention that in order for this game to succeed they need to sell 1million copies on day one uhhh I dont think soooo....so most likely it will come to 360 just later like unreal...but I rather have a new zone of enders game for 360.

Metal Gear solid is legendary. The only one that has been crap so far was the 3rd one.

MGS3 was great, It doesnt come close to MGS1 or the tanker part of MGS and the end of MGS2 (middle was iffy) but I loved 3 all the same. the camo the weapons and the bosses were class.there was some *** ass backtracking and some level maps were iffy and boring, but on the whole I thought it was great. I cant wait to see 4 in action, ill buy a PS3 the moment its realised.

no no, the best one was the original metal gear on the NES. probably because that is the only one i beat, and pretty much the only one i played. i did put a very small amount of time into 3, but i just can't get into those stealth games. same with splinter cell.
4 may look sweet and all, but it will probably be more of the same, so no matter how much i may want to buy it, i probably will, but end up hating it. it's just how i roll.

Totally agree. I liked MGS and MGS2 but MGS3 was pure crap. The camera was so broken it was unplayable for me. I suppose it was a serious problem for a lot of people since they released a "fixed" version later.
