But I know they cant take your credit card...

I think they also block your IP address so you can't even re sign up with diffrent credit card after you been banned.

I'm pretty sure they ban the serial code of your Xbox.

You know how you download some content you have to pay for? Lets say you got a new xbox. Same gamertag, same CC. You still have to pay for it again. Well when you buy one of those pay downloads it registers it under the Xbox serial number. Meaning you can delete it all you want and re-download it again for free.

I know this because I had to go through it with Xbox Live customer support... Sooooo...

What I believe they do is ban the serial # on your Xbox. I'm PRETTY SURE that's how it works. So if you went online with a modded bios and got detected they ban the serial # on your Xbox.

If anyone has proof they ban additional information, please correct me. But give me a link or something.

But if you don't believe me about the first part, you can call up 1-800-4MY-XBOX and ask them.

Im with diamond......I believe they ban the box. You should still be able to use the credit card....they don't really change anything with that. They will still apply charges each year to that card.......you just cant use the box in question anymore.

They ban the xbox and the ip adress.
But if you get banned and you haven't Opened the console you can send it to MS customer support to un-ban it.
Although i heard they may give you anew one sometimes.

So basically you are wondering if I cheat and get caught then is XBox not going to let me play live anymore. I hope so. It really sucks playing against cheaters. They are selfish not allowing the other people they are playing with enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played. Just my thoughts.
