Quake 2 cheats?

Can anybody help me out here? I haven't played it in a while and I just tried to and went to find like invincibility codes or whatever the Quake 2 equivalent is and I couldn't find any. However, I swear I had used god mode or something before.... please help.

Didn't quake 2 come out back in 1995? i remember my friend playing it on his brand new Pentium 2 mmx.

And you know what, I'm gonna back up blasterpez here cuz frankly, you lack the ability to competently understand a situation and the way people may perceive the things you say. If you want to get anywhere in the world I suggest you figure out how to fix that malfunctioning brain of yours (doubt you can google that one).

So here's how it lays out moron. You asked what the cheats were for Quake 2, a game widely known for it's success ON THE PC. Secondly, you even stated you haven't played it in awhile which again makes it even easier for a reader to assert that you are speaking of the PC version, since it came out like 10 damn years ago. How you don't realize this is beyond me. Thirdly, you can't ****ing type in command line cheats on an Xbox 360 game and id isn't going to integrate the PC cheats into the 360 version. Time is money and why would they waste it on something so minuscule? So I'll ask one last question... whose the idiot now?

are you talking about the PC version? i think GODMODE or IAMGOD or something works
