We already know MS wants in on the Wii demographic and with an actual NEXT-GEN console, hypothetically the Arcade priced at $199, I could see many potential and current Wii owners "graduating". There is already speculation MS is planning yet another price cut since their profit margins on current units has increased. They will take the short term loss (smaller margin) for the long term gain (quantity & higher saturation) which will cut in to the Wii's bread and butter. If there isn't a price reduction I still believe PS3 & 360 sales combined will be greater than the Wii. Even Michael Pachter has come out and said as much. |

| | | Sounds like it may be your connection, as I downloaded a 150mb update for Formula One the day before yesterday so I could use the G25 with it. It took about 8-10mins. | |

Sure you can uninstall games you've not played in a while, but when it takes a half hour to re-install it's a bit inconvenient.

Posts: 3,238 | I'll probably get the 40gb anyway because I will still consider the 360 to be my primary gaming machine, but I'm not about to pop open my $400 investment to drop a larger HDD.

That's not the case.................with the PS3 version of DMC4 there STILL is load time. Xbox360 load 10 sec........... PS3 load 5sec. Reduced? YES. Non existent? NO. Penny Arcade! - We Are Only Trying To Help

Posts: 2,464 | so, on a ps3, an external hard drive will work for game storage? if so, that is pretty sweet.
and karma, you mentioned something about the emotion engine and it isn't there in the 40gig version...what did that do? is there a big difference in performance between the 2 builds? |

Posts: 61 | they work the same as far as playing games go. the main difference is the fact that the 80gb can play most ps2 games. besides that it has 2 more usb ports which you can get a 5 port hub for $10 and a sd card reader which are relatively cheap. games play exactly the same on both. |
