I heard rumors this game was in development recently. but i know we have all heard rumors blizzard was working on a starcraft 2 since the release of the first one. but it looks like they are doing it for reals, and here are some screen shots. they look nice.
ah starcraft...the only RTS game i almost beat without cheating (got within 3 missions of finishing the game with the protoss).

I always end up cheating on these kind of games. I played Warcraft: Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne a lot, but always ended up cheating in SP.
Nice graphics on this too.

This game looks very good. I love this franchise. I can't wait to play this game.

Quake, Starcraft and Diablo were the 3 games that I played many many hundreds of hours each online, I was even ranked in the top 100 for Starcraft one month, I proudly got 93rd worldwide online. Nothing Says FUN like fighting some hardcore South Korean gamer to an utter standstill then slipping my 3 secret Battlecruisers in behind his main base and gutting it.
