Sony doesn't release firmware download dates to the public. Either browse the PS3 websites or check via your PS3 update setting. Unfortunately, like most websites that try to guess an exact date that something is going to be available, they usually get it wrong. Too bad that doesn't stop people from posting an ungodly amount of times with their guesstimates. Cheers !!

Even with my 360 I've had to google **** up to find out a solution to a problem. I don't care how much you pay for something, nothing is perfect and not all the solutions are going to be handed to you. You set your expectations too high or something.

i've never had any issues with my 360 after updates. just a couple times it froze during game play.
but, what is the reason to know when an update is coming up? Is it simply to download it faster on a PC (hopefully) then direct to your PS3?

OOo, i was reading in my Playstation mag about the MSG4 80gig special edition ps3 coming out in june. 500 bucks. i am gonna start saving now, so i can get in on all the ps3 talk around here.

Yeah and it still ain't that much better really. It's nice though having a few ps1 games on the store to download there about £4 to download.

Say what????? My expectations to stay connected to PSN are too lofty? Getting the Motorstorm patch in under 4 hours is expecting too much? Do you google "filling your fuel tank" before you take your car out for a spin? Do you google "setting the oven temperature" before you put your Tater Tots in? I set up my home network with my 360, PC, work laptop and guest's laptops without googling a damn thing. My expectations are entirely reasonable, and quite obviously I'm not alone. Sony apologists FTL.
