MGO Beta is up!

Well before it even goes up it looks like MGO has come down..... permanently possibly... or atleast until the Jpn servers come up... I guess Konami is showing the world who they really care about. For Japan the beta has been extended to May 11th.

LOL i gave up in the end, as usual all i got was errors,im still getting them with gt5p i gave up in the end **** it, what a of waste of 300 pounds.

Damn PJ. I downloaded the game and patch quickly by my normal PSN expectations (patch took about 50 minutes). The hardest part was making a UK account lol. If you're ever around the Salsbury Square area of London, stop by LOL.

Beta is up!

First impressions:

*Graphics are nice. The resolution isn't 720p at first glance (below it), there is a fair amount of aliasing but it looks nice enough
*Button layout takes a bit of getting used too
*Frame-rate issues are quite abundant
*The health system means it takes most of a clip to kill someone (or just 1 or 2 bullets to the head) -- I'd like to see that changed
*One of the maps is huge, other is quite small
*When creating character there are several options and you can put skills onto that character (and you can build on those skills when you play more)
*No lag

Overall, I like.

I still havnt downloaded the patch though, was leaving it for while guess Ill do it today. going take forever me thinks, which is faster P>P or direct d/l?

There's a lot of options. It's a well thought out online system but because it's a Beta and you use their proprietary ID system you can't invite anyone. So if anyone wants to play RIGHT NOW, I have set up a lobby:
