and mate, name a single cross platform game that is better on ps3 graphically. there are none, they all look gash, the only games that look truely amazing on the PS3 are the exclusives (and yes they do look pretty ****ing amazing!)

and the fact that you think that i worry about which console you prefer just makes me laugh, i guess nobody ever told you that the world doesn't revolve around the irish hoodlum

Thats why you stick with 360. Cant everbody see that we are all demanding XBL features on our PS3, Wii etc. These other organisations take ages to come up with something. Lets just embrace the 360 cause they are the leaders and the best service to boot.

I'd be annoyed too if I was a PS3 owner. I mean you get this console in November 2006, then all of 2007 goes by, now half of 2008 goes by, and your not getting home till at least 2009, thats like 3 years! Not huge in a 10 year cycle, but a long time to wait for a service.

I was equally annoyed with Wii, waited a year for online chat, hard drive add on, and online play. So where are we today, all online games are terrible, even smash bros, very very laggy and constant drop outs. I think only 1 game has nailed it officially, and thats Mario Kart Wii, which just came out. But c'mon, only 1 game. I simply turned to my 360, and say, God Bless you as I realised I had all this and more on my Xbox and it was now, today, and ready to be played.

But I do feel your Pain Fried with the PS3, my pain was in relation to the Wii.

I own both consoles and i can understand they both have different capablities however they were both built to entertain people whether it be movies or games. Now i own both so that dosen't make a fanboy of either one (after all why waste money on a console you don't really want) and i have to say from a gamers point of view i prefer the 360 for a number of reasons firstly i like the way the controller has been designed, secondly it's games are cheaper whether the graphics are better or worse is irrelavant because i don't notice a damn difference on either console.

The main reasons i don't prefer the ps3 are simple, now i'm sure if this happens you guys but my console has frozen in game and on the web browser more times than i'm prepared to count, i've had it less than two months and i think for me the only thing it's good for is watching DVD's (to be fair though i can notice a difference when the ps3 up-scales a standard DVD)

So on that basis then they do have their own capablities, one plays games the other one movies.

my preference is waaay in the 360 corner. I have a ps3 now, bought it for cheap BR playback (got it used for 300 after tax

) I think the coloring is slightly better on the ps3, but thats probably just because i use the HDMI cord on it cince my 360 dont have one. Its also wisper quiet which is kinda neat after years of listening to my 360. I have yet to find a "must have" game for it though.
And since my 360 just freshly bricked, i will wait for a new 360 to get gta4. Im sorry but the DLC city just makes it worth the wait.
On my 360 there are tons of "must have" titles, plus an online service thats worth the few bux a month they charge. The 360 controller is so much better compared to the ps3's.
I will probably end up getting GT5 and LBW when that comes out for the PS3, but i cant really think of any other games that i "must have!"

I have no problem with anyone that prefers the PS3. If that's your opinion, more power to ya. But, when we're talking GAMING consoles, the 360 is much, much better.

i would love for shane to find all the great features and games that are out that make the ps3 so much greater a console. its easy to flame (and violate TOS without any warnings with the language), but its hard to come up with viable answers.
i own both, so you cant call me a fanboy, and there are things i like about the ps3, but the 360 so wins this round, game machine to game machine... or heck, even media machine. Wheres home? wheres the dlc movies and shows sony promised shortly after launch? heck.. wheres the must have games (or great originals they used to have)?? You take BR playback out of ps3's stock, and its nothing but an over priced, last placed machine, which is going to have a short lifespan. Sony said a few months back that they may scrap the ps3 early if its sales dont pick up (prob by 2010ish), and launch a ps4 sooner than the 10 yr cycle they wanted. Heck, MS already said they want a new console around 2011, and the 360 is on fire (unfortunatly sometimes litterally!).

before my 360 rrod the first time, the fans started gettin faster and faster ,and sounding like a jet plane getting ready for take off. I really thought the darn thing was gonna explode! I even keep the darn thing on a shelf by itself, with the brick suspended in air to keep nice airflow.

i guess being a beta tester for home is a good thing....gonna have it until it's "eventual" release date hahaha..what a joke...i'm so glad i spent $600 on a shiny black paper weight. Maybe i should have kept the money to replace my jet engine of a disk scratching 360.....but then again, i love it telling me to put my $60 360 game in an xbox360 console.
we all need to band together and make a system that is ACTUALLY worth the money we spend. unfortunately, i have no idea about the wonders of inventing a new system, so this is going to take a while!!!lol...wish me luck!!hahaha
