Halo>Every Single Playstation

I would rather have the entire halo series, and nothing else, than every single game made on ps1, ps2 or ps3. I have a ps2 but it has gone untouched since the day i bought it. When I went to my friends house the other day who has a ps3 i almost fell asleep. we were playing resistance, blazing angels, and Rainbow 6 vegas

2 of them are 360 games aswell, and 1 is arguably the best shooter on xbl. so u may need to rethink that one...

ps1 and ps2 shaped modern console gaming. wether you hate sony and the ps3/blu-ray fiasco you still have to admit the PS1 was one of the best consoles around. And as for never touching your PS2 i guess that means you hate metal gear solid games, and GTA games and FinalFantasy games and GT games ect...
and lets be honest halo2 was poor even halo fanboys admit it was poor. I think HaloCE is a decent game at best, but halo2 was cack. why you would take those games over every other famous and classic game series out there i dont know, i can only persume yout totaly retarded.

i can't stand using a playstation controller. Grand Tourismo and the MLB games are alright but i think forza is better. Metal Gear Solid sucks, if i wanted to watch a movie I would go to the movies. I guess I would say Playstation games are overrated. If the same games come out for both I tend to think that the xbox version is far superior.

Resistance is a great game. Very similar to COD2 but with aliens. Maybe you were just really tired...play it again.

I think the playstation controller is the greatest out of all...but thats not to say the xbox 360 controller is bad, it has a fuller feel to it, which I like. I'm a hardcore Soul Calibur Fanboy, and the playstation controller is the best for the game even though I think the Dreamcast version of Soul Calbur was the greatest ever... When Soul Cal 4 comes out, I will most likely get it on Xbox ONLY because of the multiplayer feature (Unless PSN improves).

Forza is a good game for its time...but I think Grand Tourismo is the greatest series for its genre across all generations. Metal Gear Sucks??? Even though this is a xbox site, many will probably disagree with you. As far as superiority, if metal gear was released today on both platforms, then you would probably be right, the Xbox version would be dominant, simply because more people own the console and Xbox Live is better than PSN (Assuming the new Metal Gear will have multiplayer capabilities).

I'm not too fond of the PS controllers. I'd have to agree that Forza is better than GT for a few reasons such as damage, the customizable options. Metal Gear isn't a movie it just has long cut scenes which I enjoy a lot. It's different, so what? It paved the road for stealth games such as Splinter Cell and is one of the greatest series of all time.

Ill agree that metal gear sucks. I never liked that series. Ive also refused to buy any PS consoles. they killed my dreamcast!! well.. sega shot themselves in the foot more than anything else, but still!!

Shane, H2 was a solid game. It just did not live up to the hype. Had it been its own game, it would of been lauded as a fantastic game (which it was if u ignored the storyline

) It only got a poor like 9.0 or so rating. And its still one of the top played games on XBL years after its release.

GT was a good series. FF was good till ff7. God of War was nice. and GTA was on the xbox as well, so no need to buy a PS2 for it! Sportscrazed is right. What game that came out on both the xbox and ps2 was better on the ps2??? none that i can think of.

FF VII was my first one and i loved it, FF9 was cack and FFX was very good.

Check the Meta Scores and Game Rankings. For the most part, multi-platform games score higher on the 360 than the PS3. Numbers don't lie.

I can't beleave you guys are bashing playstation like that.Back when ps1 came out it was the ****.And don't tell me guys didn't own one or play one and didn't like it.At the time, it played cd's,omg remember when u found out it played cd's.Xbox wasn't even around, so guys must have played ps1.And ps2 was great aswell.I still have mine, and some really great games came out that u can't deny.I realize that alot of u were xbox supporters last generation but just be fair and don't let your fanboyism blind you.The fact that someone would take take the halo series over two generations of great games is simply RETARTED!

well said. theres far to many ignorant fanboys spurting out crap.

Sure the Xbox wasnt even out till a good bit after the PS2 and by then the PS2 had new great looking games and had taken huge steps in gaming, everyone loved the ps2 and xbox only started getting good at the end of the last gen console era, due to the fact it was a better hardware and as both were aging the xbox was looking that bit better.

I enjoyed a lot of the PS1 games like: RE2, Spider-man, Legacy of Kain, Tomb Raider. On the PS2 there were Onimusa, Devil May Cry, Blood Omen 2. I never have liked the form of the PS controller since they added the sticks. It's all too bunched together. Once the Xbox came out though I was hooked with the internal hard drive and able to listen to music while playing the games.

I have never played 2 last gen games more than Halo CE and Halo 2. I'm sure that quite a few can say that as well. Once a consoles life cycle is over the games for it usually get cast aside for the shiny next gen games. Yet somehow these 2 live on more than almost any other.
