I refuses to use wikipedia at all as people can change it and add to it so forth so I would not even trust source citations info contained with in it, but thats me. When I was doing my research I never even looked at wikipedia. I mainly used my college library database and Government commisioned statisitical reports and so forth.

I understand - but if you can independantly validate a citation, then there's no problem.

Having said that - I wouldn't necessarily consider a web citation - it's more relevant to look into a book or report from a professional body.

Main rule of thumb is to use common sense and consider the source at all times.

Exactly we see eye to eye on that. Thats what I was getting at in my original post. And as you know there are people who are out there who use less than reliable sources.

exactly, he wasn't asking what the different DVD regions are, but if the PS3 was a region free player or not

At any rate - ANY player that is DVD compliant is region-locked unless it explicitly states otherwise.
