According to what I read from an nVidea guy and their new card(7800 or something), he says he's pricing this new video beyond a perspective barier because it's targetted to "enthusiasts", he also said he was thinking like sony's PS3, so the PS3 is targetted to enthusiasts, now console gaming enthusiasts aren't the ones who are going pay that much for a system, PC gamers will, not console gamers

If I really was expected to pay ****loads of money I'd build a new computer. At least MS is realistic about their gaming. They don't expect us to whore ourselves in the streets just to afford expensive technology that's still experimental.

Np, I'm still reading it actually. I was waiting to finally see an article released by an official 'well known' gaming media, based on a real, down-to-the-nickle tech comparison of the 2 systems. This is very interesting. I'd recommend it to everyone.
