Spore A Dissapointment

Anyone else think that Will Wright **** up with his vision of Spore? I thought this game was gonna be one big massive game concerning evolution of your creatures in a mmo type of environment with planets or something to that degree. Basically from what I can tell it turned up to a lame Sid Meier Civilization rip off but with a character creator. The game itself could be fun just like SMC but what a way to sway from the initial vision or what I thought from ignorance it was going to be. Every time I see a spore commercial i just see loss potential.

Man I will be really disappointed if your view turns out to be correct, I am looking forward to this game with a great deal of ambition and hope that Will Wright can at least do a little bit right. Read the below review which goes into a lot of detail and in turn actually ends up exciting me to get my hands on the full game...guess we will know for sure next week!

been playing with the character creator. i'm kinda more interested in the ds version than anything 0_0.

This just came in (full version), as a thanks from my friends at EA, anyhow I'm excited to try it out and will be back with my full impressions later this week.
