Why is it important for the PS3 to read facial expressions? So they can make the game character look/react like you? Honestly, I do not think I'd want my gaming character to look like me for a vairety of reasons; perhaps the most important (to me) is that I don't want to die in a video game. I don't care if there is a respawn. I don't think that seeing "ragdoll" effects of my body being riddled with projectiles would make my demeanor any more ideal. Its rather sordid and morose.

Meh, just my take on it.

it can read your face and tell if you are satisfied with the burger you cooked on it or not.....lol. I mean for $550 this grillin' machine better do something great, am I right...or am I right

You all are acting like little kids, when are you going to take something serois, its okay to make fun of the ps3 design and the controller from time to time, but it is going a little too far. I respect what sony is doing as well as other in this forum im sure, some of you are posting 3 words post saying stupids things, come on guys

if the PS3 can read face expression, and they are used for games. Can u imaging how somebody will look? That little camera they use to capture face expressions can transmit those on the web. Gamer1: twitch, wink, twitch twitch, wink, wink. My dear god, we will be seeing a whole new disease. Locked up face disorder after a few hours quake.

. We should respect Sony even though we don't like them. I came form Nintendo, Sega, then Sony. I loved their 3rd party exclusives. We shouldn't diss the competition no matter how hilarious it is. We can make fun of them from time to time but don't diss them in random disses.

thats why i'm a fanboy so I can make fun of them. BTW if they mess up its there fault for doing something stupid to make us make fun of them. For instance PS3 using 6 processors for videos and pictures and only one for gameplay that runs at 3.2 ghz by itself thats it. 7cpus @ 3.2 ghz good job sony!

Nintendo! making a emulator that charges for games and costs 500+$

I repect Sony for trying something new, but that doesn't change the fact that I think it's dumb IMO. If the M$ ever announced the 360 would do something similar, I would still make fun of it.

As much as the japanese love to smoother new tech in american faces yes. the fact that when playing video games most people make a plain poker face no they won't. BTW how is it supposed to read everyones face, people faces are differen't and could it make a mistake with 1/10 people that try it or more.
