What about PS3?

I have been reading various articles over the past few weeks...before the xbox360 launch and after....and apparantly the ps3 will have very expensive blu ray(which will released next spring)The cost of this new dvd player is yet to be confirmed but is rumoured to cost anything from $800 up!
So anyone who thinks the ps3 will be cheaper will be sadly mistaken..
Also the head of the new technology(which is due to be realesed next spring) says it will NOT be in ps3 in time for its launch next spring..and with sony determined to get this in the machine...a delay in launch is almost certain.
Hints have been that the ps3 will be available in the fall of 2006..
If this is all true..which the majority i think will be...is only good for the xbox360 and the growing numbers who want to avail of the machine over the coming year!Please let me know where you stand on this..

If you would be so kind to put a link to some of that information I would appreciate it. Especially the part about the Blu-ray not being ready for launch in Spring of 2006... I haven't heard/read that tidbit as of yet. I supposed that it would be a late launch, perhaps even an `07 launch, but that was just based on speculation on my part.

One thing is that im never getting it for pricing reasons. 2.the games arer going to cost $75-$90. the ps3 is going to be really popular in Australia because u can use the controller as a boomerrang. the graphics are going to look the same as the 360's.

this mainly a 360 site yes, but there are gaming fanatics who have every console released in their lifetime. not me, but there are others.

I don't see what's so wrong about liking the Playstation 3. Part of the reason I refuse to sign up for the Xbox.com forums is because they are such Xbox fanboys that they flame anyone who shows any liking whatsoever towards the Playstation 3.

PS if anyone is interested in getting my sp cheap(it would be free, but i wanna package my games in with it) it is broken though so you will need to get it fixed. the screen and everything is fine it just crashes within 30 seconds, and its not the battery cuz it just freezes. also i never used it when it worked soooooo
