About those polls

The japaneese polls about which system everyone is going to get don't make sense. Either everyone that chose the PS3 is obsenely reach or just blind of sony's marketing ploy of get the PS3 or die trying. Work our *** of for a piece of S#!T like that? And don't get me started on the controller, all I have to say is something like that should be kept in the bedroom rather than in people's hands

What you have to remember the Japanese are very loyal to thier own home grown consoles, that's one of the reasons why it's been very difficult for the Xbox to have an impact in Japan. However having said that hopefully the 360's cheaper price and the home grown games such as Final Fantasy, Blue Dragon (basically the big named RPG's) will intise more Japanese gamers onto the side of the 360 this time.

It would be interesting to see what the figures would be if the poll was retaken now. The Japanese have seen what to expect from the 360 at the Tokyo Conference and with all the recent details about the PS3 I'm sure there would be an improvement on those interested in the 360

I don't think the rise would be too dramatic, though. Like you said, the Japanese
are loyal to their own products.
