Posts: 902 | It makes you wonder if Nintendo has picked up any Apple execs recently, because both the new name and the logo look like almost like Apple ripoffs. But perhaps it's just me...  Of course iPod and iMac are far better names than Wii! iCube anyone.

Posts: 1,875 | Sadly, I could do iCube over Wii. I guess it is not too important, though, as I may never actually buy a Wii -- now see, that just sounds wrong! Okay, I will never own a Wii -- ugg. One more time, The Wii may never be a future purchase of mine since my gaming days are becoming less and less frequent. I am interested in the concept, but still, for the namesake, it isn't a good choice. |

Posts: 689 | I juat cant believe that at one point in time, people who are considered to be smart sat together in a room, when somebody likely suggested the name wii, and other people in the room said "yeah, good idea". It just blows my mind that more then one smart person liked the idea of naming it wii. Makes you wonder how smart these people really are. Kinda gives me confidence lol.
