But yeah, the jokes are getting old. Especially considering this image came out like a day after Nintendo announced the name of the console. Yet people are still using that lame joke we've seen/heard at least 6 times already. At least come up with something original.

Possibly but I personally think the Xbox 360 is a ridiculous name for a product. Xbox is bad enough but 360? They must be taking the piss.

But Nintendo got what they wanted, now many more is aware of thier product, a lot of commercial for free. Myself I think they'll change the name later, but now, "Wii" will be the name for it.

Xbox is a pretty good name well atleast better than playstation. Sony must save a bunch of money of creativity expenses. THey just change their number for the next console ie. Playstation 1, playstation 2, playstation 3. MS should have went ahead and name xbox 360 as xbox 4. That way casual gamers will think it more advanced than ps3 and wiiiiiiiiiii.

It's just a silly name. What does it even mean? At least with Playstation and Gamecube they give you an idea of what the product you'll be using will be like. Playstation - a station you play games on. Gamecube - a game system shaped like a cube (it's a terrible name also). But Xbox - What the hell? Then they add the '360' part on the end. What is that supposed to entail? It's meaningless.

The Wii is also a dreadful name because of the endless piss jokes that would/did inevitably take place when it was unveiled. In writing, the name isn't so bad but saying it just makes me want to kill myself. I can see where they're coming from and it may just catch on but I personally think it's just a desperate attempt to stray away from the competition.

Xcube and Xbox are both terrible names. I'd prefer neither.
