if you say so, your talking HD DVD vs. Normal DVD of course the game will cost more it only makes simple sense.

Dizz, it has been reported, many times that they will cost more than 60 USD. The Blu-ray is a new format, it won't be cheap. Yes the cartridges for the N64 (after a while) cost similar to the PSX's CD's, but remember that they weren't a new format.

And you are getting very defensive about all these statements, do I notice a hint of fan-boy in you?

I'm thinking, that no matter what the final hardware specs are for the PS3 or how crippled or not it is by it's limitations, developers will produce games with "next gen" graphics/feel and people will still go "Wow"...

Whether or not these games have the same over all technical compenents as 360 games will be seen. maybe they won't be able to have the same number of object on screen etc... This all remains to be seen however.

The real battle as allways is going to come down the casual gamers and what they buy. I think that with the PS3 going up against something like Gears of War, which looks stunning, will make for an interesting Christmas this year.

If Mr. and Mrs. average Mom and Dad decide to get little Johnny a new console for Xmas because that's what he asked for what are they going to find? certainly there will be NO PS3's on the shelves... They will be all sold out... PLUS the price difference is going to make "Average Mom & Dad" think twice/three timesabout what they buy.

And in the end it's going to be a 360 or a Wii for Xmas...
