Posts: 130   |  halo problem Right this is my problem i got halo2 back the other day and cant get it working on live. the single player works fine and my connection is grand but i cant get into a game with it. it goes up to the point of searching for a game then just sits there and never connects with one. and idea?

Posts: 1,729   | are you sure your connection is alright?? that is the only reason i can think of that it wouldnt connect to a game.......you have all the maps other wise it wouldnt even let you start the countdown......but i really dont know about that one..

Posts: 130 | yep got all the maps cant figure it out. if i play something like COD first it connects to that game but if i try halo it wont connect to any game afterwards and i have to restart console to play anything. could it just be my copy of the game?

This is strange. What stage does it get to? Stage 1 is finding game, stage 2 is finding players....|

Posts: 130 | it normally stays at stage 1 but the odd time it will go to 2 and i be the host. it will stay like that for around 3 mins then go back to 1 and start the whole thing again

Posts: 130 | ya i tried most but surely to god after searching for half an hour i would have stumbled across someone! i heard something about enabling origenal xbox games in family settings, long shot but could that be it?

Posts: 3,184  | See, I thought that as your account not being 18 years+ but that usually doesn't let you sign into live, at all on Halo 2... It's a long shot, but you may aswell try. Go to the Settings blade on 360 dashboard, then Parental settings then Xbox Live controls...make sure backwards compatibility is enabled. |
