Its Funny How People Are Saying The Ps3 Will Be Way Better Then The 360....and How Blu-ray Will Change The Way U Play Video Games...well Im Hear To Bust You Sony Lovers Bubble....when U Compare The 360 To The Ps3..there Are Sum Differences...the 360 Looks Way Better....hahahahahha....but On The Reals...as Far As Blu-ray Goes...its Jus Sumthing Sony As A Motion Picture And Media Company Is Shoving Down The Throats Of Anyone Who Buys The Damn Thing...u See Sony Is Backing Blu-ray To The Fullest...so Throwing It In The Ps3,sony Hopes That Blu-ray Will Reach The Masses...but When U Look At The Big Picture Most The Big Name Studio Companies Are Backing Hd-dvd...so If It Turns Out That The Format War Ends And Hd Is The Choice U Are Stuck With Blu-ray...also I Hear That People Are Complaing That Blu Ray Holds More Data Then The 360 Dvd...true...very True...but When U Look At It Developers Are Not Going To Shell Out The Millions Of Dollars To Make A Game Of That Size...and Even If They Do Decide To Make A Game Of That Size And Caliber....i Dont Mind Havung To Switch Discs In The 360...im Not That Damn Lazy..hahaha..also As Far As Games Looking Better Then Anything On The 360 Is A Pure Joke...look At Gears Of War...it Looks Better Then Anything Sony Has Out Or Is Going To Have Out...not To Mention A Certain Master Chief Jus Waiting To Crush Sony....i Went To E3 And Saw Games For The Ps3..they Didnt Look Any Different Then The 360...also Alot Of Developers Are Changing There Minds About Exclusives On The Ps3...simply Because Of The Price...and The Problems With The Tools And Hardware...they Say Its Not Eazy Working On The Ps3 And When U Compare The Tools Of The 360 To The Ps3 They Say They Rather Work On The 360 Versions....so In A Nut Shell Most Games That Are Going To Be On Ps3 Will Show Up On 360....like Peter Moore Said At The Show At E3...xbox360 Is Going To Be The Only Place Were You Are Going To Be Able To Play Gears Of War....halo3....and Grandtheft Auto...not To Mention Exclusives Like Crackdown...mass Effect...and Too Human....so All In All I Say F**** Sony...and All You Sony Lovers Can Have Your Ps3...ill Take Halo3 Any Day.......and Im Out.....

Hey man just a little information for you. Not trying to be mean but i would cut your cussing to the down low. Cause you can get your arse chewed out by these people. But other wize great post alot of good things that i would agree with, like the whole Blu-Ray thing. Will not make the game look better, are you kidding me. Well good luck here at PX360.

A little extreme, but I get your message. Now, if you had just worded it in a more eliquent way, it would be much more appealing and up to logical debate..anyway, I won't act the grammarian.

Some "facts" on the PS3:

-Blu-ray will allow less compressed textures and uncompressed sound, in theory allowing for better, richer worlds BUT the PS3 only has a 512Mb memory so you are limited to that. Also, compressed textures are easier to stream than uncompressed raw data, making loading times more lengthy, even with HDD caching.

-The RSX isn't as powerful as first thought, though it is in a way redundant as the Cell can take over most of the graphics processing duties. The RSX is reputed to have been downgraded from 550Mhz to 500Mhz. Now, this may seem a little strange so late in development but it would relieve any heat pressures on system.

-The OS: it has been reported that the Operating system on the PS3 will take as much as 96Mb of RAM and 1 SPE to run. This could significantly affect games performance (the 360 on the other hand is just 32Mb).

I agree with most of what u have to say. but your going to want to change your wording next time. This can easily start a flame war and us mods try to prevent flame wars as much as possible…unless it’s too quite and then we get bored.

Some people don’t realize how good Sony is at hyping every thing they do. Take for example the hardware names "cell'' ok last time I looked its just as CPU with 7 SPE and one spare. And the “RSX” now that’s of the most un-talked about part of the system and why?.. cuz it’s the biggest let down over all. Afterall, NVIDIA just used one of their older models for the GPU and yet they still gave it a edgy name. There’s a reason why MS tossed NVIDIA to the curb and Sony learned it the hard way.

When I talk to people, most of the time they don’t know anything about the hardware spec. the only thing they have to say is..”well the PS3 has the CELL and that is 3x better the 360” and that’s all they have to say. Most people use the hype as real information. And that’s the sad truth.

In the end I can say this, and he or she can say that, but until both systems comes out and about a 2 years have passed we’re not going to be able to compare the two very powerful system at there peak performance.

A lot of develepors have been quoted as saying that the 360 is much easier to develop for and there will be no notable difference in the way the games look ...... if there is any difference i think it will be very slight. The PS3 does not appeal to me in anyway....... my 360 is all i need.
