Down the line I hope to get one. I bought a Gamecube when it dropped to $99 and that was in 2004 I believe. I want to play one but just dont have the available cash to spare. One system suits me fine right now (360) as my gaming time has decreased.

Me. I'm looking forward to Zelda, Red Steel, Wario Ware, Mario Galaxy, Far Cry, Battalion Wars, Resident Evil UE, Mertoid prime 3, Sonic

amongst others.

After seeing the FarCry screenshots, I am going to pass on this one. Yeah, the gameplay maybe "innovative" but sorry, seeing a screenshot that bad, then realising that it will be further 'crapified' (<-- new word ^_^) but the scaling my HDTV will have to do to take it from 640x480 to 1366x768.

Sorry, but £179 is just too much.

If it was $100, i would get one just for the hell of it. But i mean, the 360 has satified my needs. Just keep your GC.

It may be a while before I purchase the system with the most-stupid-console-name ever. $249 is not a casual purchase for me, and that's why I would buy one -- as a second console.

Default Hell yes I'm serious

Don't get me wrong, I love my 360. I play it constantly and believe that Live is one of the best gaming experiences around.

I will however, definitely, buy a Wii because I believe Nintendo is truly onto something. They are innovating and embracing the genre like only they could. As for the wii-mote, I believe it will be another controller design that we come to see everywhere. Nintendo made the analog stick commonplace with the N64, the shoulder buttons were brilliantly added to the SNES controller, and the idea of rumbling controllers providing feedback.

I believe they are on the path to providing people with a fully interactive entertainment system and that is something I long to see.

Nintendo introduced the Rumble Pak with StarFox 64 (it came with the game). Force feedback had been prevalent in some joysticks used by PCs, but Nintendo brought the idea to consoles.
