Have you ever owned a Sony or Nintendo Console?

How dedicated to the Xbox are you guys? Ever gone to the dark side and bought a PS2 or GameCube? Did you upgrade from a PS2 to the Xbox?

Or are you simply a staunch Xbox only fan

At the moment I have two Xboxes andf a GameCube as well as alot of retro consoles. I used own a PS2 as well, but after the third one broke, I gave up on them.

i dumped my ps2 for more xbox games.

i got nintendo consoles. not gamecube though.

M$4lyfe.

I would never buy a Sony console when there's a M$ one competing with it. Nintendo consoles don't do it for me either, they have no decent games.

DS and PSP handhelds both look appealing in their own ways too. I expect I would buy one if my a few friends did not already have them.

How can you say that nintendo has no decent games, they have Zelda(WHICH BY THE WAY IS MORE POPULAR THAN HALO)
Not that i have anything against microsoft i just dont like people slogging of things they havent tried

agreed. fanboyism is a plague on gaming. there's no point in hating a console just because of the brand.

i've had ps, nintendo consoles before and they were all good but in my opinion, xbox was the better console.

there's no point in saying something like "all consoles suck compared to____"

There is most definetely no point. But yeah, I doubt anyone hear owns nothing but an Xbox. I mean, it's not like people avoided the NES saying, "No way, I'm holding out for an Xbox" lol. Anyways, I own every Nintendo console, and an Xbox, but I've never seen much special about the PS1 and 2.

Hold on. Im not degrading Sony or Nintendo in any way. I think they are great consoles. I just happen to prefer the M$ console.

IMO gamecube has no decent games which I would like to play. I know Zelda is a successful popular game but I don't particularly like RPGs.

exactly. that's the point of nintendo. their games appeal mostly to a child audience. zelda, metroid, mario, etc. those are mostly kid-oriented games. it's totally natural to grow out of them.

I for one don't beleive Nintendo games are kiddy, they just make fun games. Am I going to be ashamed of playing a Mario game just cause a cloud has a smile on it? Hell no, as long as it has good gameplay, I'm happy. I'm most ceartainly not going to stop playing Wind Waker cause of cell-shaded graphics. I think that people who degrade Nintendo for being "kiddy" (I'm not accusing you guys, cause I know you weren't doing this) should grow up and learn to be secure with their own maturity. Again, not accusing you guys of anything.

Well said Prophet. Mario DS mini games are extremely fun to play, the adventure mode however bores me.

definitely, i still play mario 64 sometimes..lol...

i was just saying, that's what they're marketing more towards now....

Well said MH_prophet. I think the usual judge a book by it's cover is what's associated with Nintendo games.

MH-prophet are you playing Killer 7 on the Cube? That's one wierd game.
