Posts: 841   |  I too got one for Xmas. Late, cuz I just got it tonight. Over all it is a nice looking box... But everything besides actual game play is just sad when compared to the 360. The "dashboard" or whatever they call it is plain and there version of Live or Market Place is not very good. I don't want to slam them to much as it did just launch so I am hoping for some improvements over the next year. But if I had to choose only one right this second, it would be the 360 hands down. Two things I did like about it was that the Blue-Ray worked and looked good. But to be honest my TV is only 1080i and I could not tell that huge of a difference between the Blue-Ray and a normal DVD in my upscaling DVD player. The other thing I was happy with was the game play. I only got one game, Resistance. I only played for about 45 min before I switched back to RB6 on my 360. But it looked good and seemed like a good game. Also FWIW set up was easy and everything worked as it should first try. Anyway, I don't want to go on about it as this is a 360 forum. But I am sure there are others out there like me who can enjoy more then one system and are wondering what the PS3 is like. Again however, if I had to pick only one... the 360 would win by a long shot. Take care~

Posts: 575 | I just bought a ps3 two days ago. So now my collection is finally complete. I have my 360, wii, and ps3. Sure its "marketplace" kinda sucks, but the games play great. Not to use the common example, but me and my buddy were playing resistance and never once did the frame rate stutter, drop, or anything of the sort. And the graphics were top notch with nothing but people running everywhere, crap blowing up, and who knows what else was going on. That includes the coop and 40 man multi. I think it will pay off over time just like the 360 did. I bought the 360 with only call of duty 2 which I wanted to play. And look at her now. But man, I'm still addicted to rainbow6 multi! Oh well see you on! If you have the ps3 add my ass, ChuckSteak0331
