I just saw a sony comercial and they are showing Metal Gear game playing. I would be so pissed if I bought the ps3 for Metal Gear. This is just sorry.

The movie-esque previews for that game look pretty sweet...makes me wish i had played them more and knew more about Metal Gear games/story. But alas, i played the original one on the NES and that was it (it was fun too). I just suck at those sneaky games (splinter cell too).
I don't know what my point is or how to tie it in with this thread. But there you go.

It will be a great game, but one title isn't going to make me drop $500 on a PS3.

First let me apologize for not proof reading my post. I saw the commercial and was in a hurry.

I was not saying MGS4 was not a badass looking game. Myself personally I would love to play it and would probably rent a ps3 just to do so. What I was saying was that Sony was making it look like MGS4 was available right now by having a commercial to show off its price drop while having MGS4 videos playing in the background. So what I meant was I was uninformed and didn’t know the game would not be out until March or so and bought a PS3 on that commercial thinking I could get the game and then couldn’t I would be pissed. To me that is misrepresentation. What the commercial needs is a disclaimer saying Sons of Liberty won’t be available until March 08.

The only exclusives I've seen Sony advertise for the PS3 is Drake's Fortune, or whatever. They have been trying to make Assassin's Creed and The Simpsons Game look like exclusives, which is reprehensible.

Funny thing is there countless videos up on interweb showing the PS3 and 360 versions of Assassins creed side-by-side, and the 360 one looks far better, theres texture problems and a very dark look and feel to the PS3 version, dont believe me google it im sure youll find a video im talking about.

Misrepresentation is a trademark of Sony. This isn't the only case. Remember when they used pics of PGR4 to advertise GT5?
