Revolution Out June 2006?

Spong also commented that analysts have pinned down a price tag of around £200 for the console, although nothing has been confirmed at this stage.

Bare in mind this is Spong claiming this, and they are renowned for jumping on the rumour band wagon and posting information that has later turned out to be false

I doubt there will be a June release, mostly because Spon said so, but I would LOVE to see the Revolution come out in June for my birthday, and to have a global launch as well. I don't want to have to wait for the US and Japanese markets to play for months before i get my turn.

Seeing as Spong are saying this, it is most likely going to be false. It would be great if this were true, but I can't see it happening.

If a June release is the time, then it will be perfect. Metroid Prime 3 for the Rev in the summer with my 360! That would be nice. I hope Nintendo releases new info on the Rev. It is so interesting

Hmmmmm.....

I doubt it. I don't think Nintendo feels any pressure to be first to the market, so I expect the Revolution to release Q4 06.

I think its the perfect time for nintendo to enter through the bid doors, th x360 will be out and ppl will have enough time to save for the revo

Wow, if Nintendo does that, Sony will have that much more turmoil in their launch, especially if the Rev hits the shelves in June and the PS3 is last out of the gate. Launching last is the worst position. THen if Nintendo and MSoft drop prices in Xmas, Sony could be in dire straights.

Nonetheless, I hope that the articles are correct, just for the sake of gaming- and the controller I wish to try out.

Yeah, actually sony could finish last. Althought i dont think ms and nintendo are going to lower the prices for xmas '06, but still they will sell faster than the ps 3

Thats good news on one side, but if the PS3 comes out roughly the same time, then that also gives MS the Halo equation.

Would be much better if it came out an exact year after the 360 (as its my birthday again)

Maybe its just me but I am looking forward to the revolution more than the
PS3, but of course my first choice is the 360

Well you cant compared Halo with a new console, as much as we hate sony, they still a big company and thousands of thousands are expecting the ps3. Well i think its a good idea for nintendo to come at that time, why wait longer? as far as my concern, im waiting for it to come summer '06

The Revolution is more unique than the 360 and PS3, which will be very similar. So...you should be looking forward to it more!
