Posts: 1,863    |  Podcast XXVII – GTA IV Talk and Sony Not Delivering (it’s not unusual) We’re Calling Out Names! Yes, the podcast is back. This week we discuss the perfect reviews GTA IV has been receiving along with tremendous sales figures ousting Halo 3 from its perch. Was GTA IV the most played game over LIVE? What was the split between sales on the 360 and sales on the PS3? Did GTA also increase hardware sales? Have YOU had any problems with freezing and being unable to play online? Will GTA maintain its popularity in the long term? More delays for the PS3 have come to light after a European open day. Will it never end? PC world has dropped a clanger while advertising the PS3. Was it intentional? As usual there is site news coupled with obscure humour and trying not to use words beginning with ‘F’ and ‘C’. There is also another new section to the podcast introduced, “Listener’s Question” where we answer a humdinger by Boost King. Posts: 191  |  Good PC guys. Next time do we get an aussie guest host? If not, can Joel just fake the accent for the entire thing? Nice to hear a different take Charles. Gushing praise makes me suspicious, especially if it's unanimous. I probably like open worlds more than you, although it depends on their depth. I didn't play Oblivion for that long, but I still play Morrowind. A little negativity (errr, honesty) actually makes the game more attractive to me.

Posts: 667  | Hey guys, Top podcast as per usual. I think the accent is fine to understand. Then again my old boss was scottish, and it was hard at first but after 3 years I could understand him. Posts: 71  | I havent had any problems with random freezing on the ps3 version. So far though, every once and a while the picture drops or changes to a green screen for about 15 seconds a piece. Thank god my 360 is being shipped back to me, so i can go buy the 360 version, take this rental game back, and go get some achievements!! |

Posts: 667 | Well, one thing no one talked about in the comparasons everywhere, especially IGN, is how the PS3 version ran at 630p, vs xbox 360's version at 720p! Oh well. Anyway, today I ordered off ebay the PAL uncut version. Damm aussie version is cut big time and its annoying because when I am playing and pick up a hoe, all it shows is the ground and you can hear the sounds. What a joke! Boost

Posts: 71 | well, ill give ya a great heads up difference if you like.. im prob bout 25 hrs of playtime into the ps3 version. If MS is good for their word, ill have my xbox back any day, and then I'll be buying the 360 version, so I can give a good differential if there is anything major. |

Posts: 34 | Enjoyed the PC, interesting insights/opinions, as usual. The audio volume between the two of you speaking was very good. I agree with fortunzfavor , you might need to post some "cliff notes" for the slang used by our brethren across the pond. lol |
