Clans in the forums

We should have certain clans in the fourms that help control the fourms with you Matt. It won't be dividing the fourms just making it more fun. We pick clans for arcade, Live, etc. You can make the rules and stuff for clans.

EDIT: We vote for leaders.

Yes that will be really cool, every clan, squadron, etc can have like a badge and they can do like special meeting for their clans, and it will be really cool when the arcade comes back

Except putting a leader who chooses put a leader and get people to send PMs to the leader to join the clan. Orient the clans by game genres to.

Sorry bout that xpitbull. We can vote/pick leaders. The leader can PM or shoutbox members if the want. Each member would get a specific badge and compete in fourm events (arcade, etc)

Council members: These members are specially voted to represent our clan

Info: If this size of a clan doesn't reach 5 members by a week it will be disbanded. Also when the clan reaches 5 members it must vote for a Presdent and Vice President.

Rules:(base rules that govern every clan a clan can also choose to make rules for their clan specificley but only with good cause and Matts permission)
1. You can only join one clan at a time
2. Only 1 clan leader
3. In order to join a clan you must own a game they support.
4. Every major decision in the clan must be voted on.
5. After 500 posts you can start a clan of your own. or You can buy the rights to start a clan with 2000 points.
6. You may then formally invite up to 20 members to join your group.
7. You may then formally invite up to 15 members to join your group.
8. To Become a member you must have 50 posts
9. To Become 3rd in command you must have contributed to the board atleast once and have 200 points.
10. To Become 2nd in command you must have contributed to the clan atleast once and the board twice and have 350 posts.
11. To Become 1st in command(or replace one that left) you must have been in 2nd or 3rd command atleast once contributed to the board and clan numerous times and have atleast 500 posts.
12. If a clan cannot get atleast 5 members within a week it will be shutdown.
13. Graphics and other features for your clan must be given permission to use from matt before you can use them.
14. If you are suspended from the board you will lose all clan status.

Passing an Idea into a Clan Rule:

If a member comes up with an idea that would contribute to the clan he will first need to send his idea to the Clan President the President will review it with the two 2nd in command(If Clan is Large Enough) If your clan only has one 2nd and one 3rd then the 3rd will have a say in approving the rule. If it is approved then a poll in your clan section will be started asking for a yay or nay to approve or not approve the idea and is only controlled by every member in the clan. The Idea can win by any margin to be approved and can lose by any margin to be unapproved.

Lets choose one of these:
1.Members can apply for clan and inside clan members can approve or decline them
2. Anyone can join any clan
3. Anyone can join a new clan, but must show their skill (ambition) when joining a skillful clan. They must pass certain requirements when doing so (post, respect, maturity, etc)
4. As stated in Ford and ace's post the official rules of the clans (the basic clan rules)

Ok, here's how I think it should be:

After 500 posts you can start a clan of your own.
It does not have to focus around a specific genre of gaming and can be name whatever you want it to be named.
You may then formally invite up to 20 members to join your group.
You must chose a 2nd in command and a 3rd in command, both of whom must have over 100 posts each.
You can use Ushop (or your own member's talents) to create graphics and other things for your clan.
A clan will be automatically shut down if there are less than 4 people in it (after the preliminary week in which the leader is assigned to aquire members).
From there the sky is the limit.

4. A clan my have only one clan leader.
5. If a leader shall leave the 2nd in charge assumes complete leadership.
6. Every new member in the clan must achieve a vote of confidence from over %50 percent of the clan (note: If the leader and both sub-leaders agree this can be overruled or the potential member can pay 500 points to be let into the clan).
7. To become a clan member you must have 50 posts.
8. To Become a member you must have 50 posts
9. To Become 3rd in command you must have 200 posts.
10. To Become 2nd in command you must have 300 posts.
11. To Become 1st in command (or replace one that left) you must have been in 2nd or 3rd command and have at least 400 posts.

Sence I'm not sure how the clan set up is on the Xbox 360 yet, I can't say how this will all hold up.

Basic Ideas, but simple is sometimes better.

Requirments to keep a created clan
-Must have at least 1 trainning setion a week (given 3 weeks of warning time)
-Must have at least 1 clan match every 2 weeks.
-Must report here at least 1 time a week
-Must keep at least 5 active members

1 leader

Responsibilities
-Elect 5 or more members to join
-Keep all members active
-Asign members to apropriate jobs
-Dispatch members
-Other
