here is a quick tour of our conversation in chronological order:

You asked if you should get some boring soccer game. You didn't list any credentials people should have before giving their opinion. I gave my opinion. Then, as the nice person i am, i let you know i don't play sports games, so you shouldn't put to much weight onto my answer to the question you asked.
Then, not understanding my humor (or me not understanding yours...are you british), you made some asinine statement about how i shouldn't answer your question because i don't play soccer/football games...basically what i had stated in my original post. (And again, i would like to digress to the fact you didn't specify which type of people should answer your question.) Then you state that me and some other person here should go kill ourselves. Man, words can't describe how dumb that is. In response to that statement, i explained that suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems...and somehow you figured i had cryptically asked you to kill yourself, which brings us to the statement i made at the beginning of this post.
So, you see, i was trying to be funny, because i think fifa games are boring. And then you made it dumb. so people shouldn't go around killing themselves (unless they are emo artists, then they kind of have to, to be taken seriously).

I think all Americans should'nt be allowed post in Footy threads, at all. it just leads to flames, and they clearly have no clue.

And euro's being banned from NFL threads and such might be good aswell, not that we bother posting in them..

I'd have to partially agree with Shane here. What American truly knows Soccer/Football? I don't know of any Euros that know American football either.

If Shane stuck to what he knows, his post count would be 4. It's soccer, not brain surgery. Kick the ball, don't use your hands. We all played it in gym class and when we were kids. It's not a complicated game.

Yea, I used to play soccer all the time at recess back in year 5. I think Euro's should post in NFL threads and Americans to post in soccer threads...as long as he/she/shemale knows what he/she/shemale is talking about.

Im american, but my family is from argentina (River Plate 4 life) i.e. very rich football culture, and i watch every premier (England) league, primera (Spain) league, argentinian league (basically anything but MLS) that i can get over here.

PS the fundamentals of the game are not that complicated, but there is alot of strategy, conditioning and very quick thinking. As much as i love american football, they break after every play, and have time to regroup, i see it as a wimpy version of rugby (it is what it is).the fundamentals for all sports are pretty straightforward, baseball for instance, hit ball run bases, but i have recently come to respect and understand exactly how much strategy is involved. Alot of it is still based on luck (or curse for those who saw game 2 yankees vs Indians) and raw power, even though i still find it very boring, playoffs are always fun.

true, theyre making all these commercials saying "your a fan you just don't know it yet" where they compare the MLS to NFL, MLB, and NHL. MLS just well....(trying to find a better word for it) sucks. Only semi-decent team is New England, and even they cant wash barcelona's jock strap.
